Lovely dolls!! I also love the 90's reproduction Barbies. I have those three and also Poodle Parade, Solo in the Spotlight and the 35th anniversary Barbie which comes in the black and white swimsuit. I redressed her in a new Gay Parisienne outfit. I found the pattern on Etsy. Love your videos. So glad I found you!!!

Ooh great haul!! The repro dolls are great, and I love the Classique Christie! I know what you mean about the Diva face for Midge, it depends on the face paint for me. And if I had a dollar for every time I said I have to stop buying dolls and then bought more dolls I would have a LOT of dollars LOL

I have all vintage reproductions that you've bought (and a few more) and I think that they're really underappreciated by collectors - they usually have issues with fully rooted hair and "inaccurate" face screening - but I find them amazing! Their faces are just beautiful and the 90's quality of hair and it's length, oh my... I suppose that in the early years of collector repro editions people from Mattel thought that collectors will expect that kind of standards and not the graphic style of face screening and hair rooted just around the scalp... though the first reproduction ( 35th anniversary Barbie from 1994) has the more accurate face paint, with white irises. And the Busy Girl doll... She's just a gem! My favourite - and the first that I bought. 🖤🖤🖤

Thanks for posting :) i have all but 2 of those outfits. Don't have skiing Midge & i had to buy 2 Original of the wedding dress an d do some sewing to make 1 dress (1960s original) complete. When i got the Christie in gold seen here, she wasn't in the box but is complete but i did buy the blonde in pink too . The Pink Enchanted evening Repro dress can be distinguished from an original because they weren't manufactured in the same way . The skirt portion of the dress on an original is all 1 piece of fabric, including that off to the side flap . i wasn't going to buy any more dolls anytime recently too just outfits BUT since i have doubled the size of my house i wont have to keep everything stored away anymore. i will soon Finally be able to display the dolls i'm keeping . So, like when i have a doll and like the others from that series i'm getting them when i can find them second hand or at prices within my budget . because i know i will be displaying them as a group together . Like how i have had the brunette in blue Hip To Be Square Barbie doll i bought her when they were originally sold in stores . Well, just this month i found the other 3 dolls complete- out of box and all of them still have all of their accessories except sunglasses. they will be displayed together as if they are models on a runway or posing together for a photographer .

I felt the need to say why/how i learned the difference between an original and repro enchanted evening dress . If she was a real living person that dress is so tight at the bottom that she would have to be carried around by a big strong man Unless something was done to the bottom of the dress so that she could Walk on her own . Turns out that on an original dress all i had to do was remove a few stitches at the bottom so her legs can part a bit more for walking . nobody would notice a difference doing that and it didn't do any damage to the dress . With the repro a slit would have to be Cut in the back of the skirt and sewn around the slit which makes an obvious opening in the back of the dress that some would see as damaging it . when i bought the repro of that dress i assumed they were manufactured in the same way and i was just going to test ways of altering the dress on a repro instead on an original without causing any permanent damage .
