These commercials aired on WGNX in April of 1992
1. Tiger Electronic Handheld Games (Featuring Jordan Vs. Bird and Paperboy)
2. Promo for "Full House"
3. Hopsy (1:08 That is supposed to be hopping?)
4. Cinnamon Toast Crunch
5. "Tiny Toon Adventures" Commercial Bumper
6. Alpha Bits (The animation here freaks me out. The rosy cheeks on the kids just look like dark circles under their eyes)
7. Birthday Surprise Barbie
8. Little Miss Singing Mermaid
9. McDonald's (With Back To The Future Happy Meal Toys)
10. Apple Cinnamon Cheerios
11. "Tiny Toon Adventures" Commercial Bumper
12. Dino Pebbles
13. Tyco Typhoon II R/C Hovercraft
14. Magic Copier
15. Hi-C
16. Pop Tarts
17. 101 Dalmatians on VHS
18. Promo for "A Different World"
19. Channel 46 Free Toy Giveaway
20. Promo for "Harry And The Hendersons" (I'm not sure if I ever knew there was a TV show. But given they probably spent a lot of money making that elaborate Bigfoot costume for the movie, it makes sense they'd want to use it in something else if a movie sequel didn't pan out)
21. Lucky Charms
22. WGNX Station ID
23. Promo for "Full House"
24. Scamps
25. Froot Loops
26. Shark Bites
27. Honey Comb
28. McDonald's (11:12 terrifying)
29. Skip It (Great jingle that is still very memorable all of these years later. "And the very best thing of all...there's a counter on this ball!")
30. "Tiny Toon Adventures" Commercial Bumper
31. Micro Machines Classy Chromers, Superbikes and Adventure Vehicle Packs
32. Puppy Alive (The puppy is wearing a...diaper?)
33. Nutty Putty
34. Magic Bottle Pets
35. Cheerios
36. Promo for "A Different World"
37. Atlanta Storytelling Festival PSA
38. Promo for "Not Just News" (With Steve Doocy from Fox News! Somehow this show looks less embarrassing than "Fox & Friends")
39. Promo for "Full House"
40. Squeezit (The girl here is Ariana Richards aka Lex from "Jurassic Park")
41. Jell-O (With Bill Cosby)
42. Disney's Beauty And The Beast Dolls
43. Disney's Cinderella Dolls
44. Nestle Quik
45. Tyco Bandit R/C Car
46. Little Rub-A-Dub Doggie
47. Quints Cousins
48. Zoo Atlanta "A Koala Bear Affair" PSA
49. Promo for "A Different World"
50. Promo for "American Gladiators"

I'd like to watch the original 1989 American Gladiators again but it's not on home video, and the only torrents i've ever found are of the 2008 relaunch. I remember seeing this one episode back in the 90s where they showed what the qualifiers are like, and boy, you had to be in really good shape to get on that show!

The man that played Big Foot was Kevin Peter Hall he was also the costume model for the Predator but sadly died shortly after Predator due to a bad blood transfusion. I remember seeing the previews for the movie Harry and the Henderson’s and being scared of the big foot costume I was like maybe five or six at that time.

It's definitely possible to make good LCD games. Many of Nintendo's Game and Watch games from the early 80's hold up well today: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-BPLtkmZ0aGY.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ZPrDFHMfdS8.html Tiger was relying on licensed IP's to sell their games, and didn't seem to put much effort into actually trying to make them enjoyable, or in many cases, playable.
@Panzer83
@Panzer83 2 года назад
@@80sCommercialVault I agree, Nintendo's Game & Watch definitely has a lot more going in gameplay than all of the Tiger handheld games combined.

I wish the wheels on that Delorian Happy Meal toy weren't so damn flimsy. One of them just totally broke off on mine. Luckily, they did recently release action figures of the cartoon BTTF, so I didn't have to pay collector's prices for a replacement cartoon Dr. Brown. And I just straight up lost the other three.

Tiger Electronic Handheld Games -that MC Hammer game on the list was most likely based off of that short-lived Hammerman cartoon Full House-Joey did Jesse a favor..Aunt Becky would later change Jesse's life Alpha Bits-what did they put in that cereal to make their faces look like that... A Different World-Freddie was played by the voice of Tiny Toon Adventures's Elmyra herself,Cree Summer Francks Harry And The Hendersons-the series went for a couple of seasons, although they had to recast the role of Harry(R.I.P Kevin Peter Hall)

Cinnamon Toast Crunch- Those must be some subpar teachers if they couldn't figure out why kids love Cinnamon Toast Crunch. Everyone knows it's the Sugar Rush from that cereal that kids love. Alpha Bits- That wizard character looked like he had so much potential. Too bad he didn't become as popular as Lucky The Leprechaun from Lucky Charms. Little Miss Singing Mermaid- I remember singing mermaid dolls like that one. Once they get put in water, their singing becomes a painful to listen to, garbled mess.
