This build is what made me build and buy a first gen . I had a 89 2wd with 5x18 injectors, Borg S363, Fass 165, Locker in the rear, intercooler, and overdrive trans

Greg, the 1st Gen is looking great. Like the rugged rust and faded OEM paint. The rest of the truck mods make this truck uniquely wicked. Can't wait to see the final project once it's done. Very cool.
Hey greag just narrow the rear tub it like a pro street truck to take on cruises maybe do power tour and have to have fun with. if it was tubbed it would look killer and differant than your other trucks. It would be a fun date night truck or Sunday funday truck for you and your wife to enjoy and make good memories in.
What cam are you running in the 1st gen? And it looks like there's a plug missing in the front intake tube, where it goes into the head?? You should get with Chase Hogeland for a rat rod. He's got his for sale right now! Look it up on youtube. And what about an electric fan setup for the 1st gen?
Awesome awesome video Greg A, I love that ol first gen lol, I’ve watched it grow from what you got when you first got it which was a straight up slow grandpa truck lol to an absolut tire shredder Land rocket monster lol, and I think there is one question I have is what’s the fastest you’ve ever had the ol first gen, and is there and possibilities to beat your previous speed records with it lol granted the aged long block holds together?
Are u going to vynal wrap the truck because it would look amazing flat black all black all ur trucks are black bud all my trucks are white black and white
Damn, 65psi on the bosch pump. 20psi on the big bore pumps still makes at least 400hp on the ol 8.3l Cummins ( probably more, just haven't tried). Of course I'm not really familiar with what the aftermarket guys do to those bosch (p-pumps) but it seems the big bore version would do plenty on a 5.9l, and since the outside of the pump is physically the same it bolts right up. But what do I know, I never tried.
Look up John Fennimore @knifeguy 99 he's got build info on the bread truck. It's down right now with a toasty clutch and bent shift fork, but super interesting story on how it got that way lol.
