You make the adjustments by moving the grey plastic linkage up or down the cable depending on the adjustment you need. To initially set up you open throttle completely and move lever back all the way and tighten the adjustment screw down. Take it for a drive and see how it behaves. If it doesn't want to shift into 3rd then it is too tight.
I’m using a the Lokar kit and kickdown cable, but the stock throttle cable. ‘88 D100, 318 and 904. Same situation. But it has virtually no kickdown and the gas pedal is way too easy to press and sticks. I’m curious if the spring is too slack and isn’t doing what it needs to do. I need to try and post a video of what it’s doing.
@@jordantomblin2302 not trying talk down to you just checking bases but do you have a return spring on it? If you do make sure it is strong enough and at the right angle.
