this is my favorite live performance of all time by any singer! The vibe, the saxophone, the VOCALS, the tone. Everything. She is truly THE VOICE. PERIOD
like other people said her voice was really great until about ‘94. if you haven’t watched it yet, one of her best performances was in 94 at the AMA’s where she sang “I Loves You Porgy, And I Am Telling You, and I Have Nothing” as a medley.
Yes this is during her prime she was a vocal beast in the 90's. Here is another good live performance it is Whitney Houston "why does it hurt so bad" live at the 1996 MTV awards but her voice started to deteriorate during latter years of the 90's.
Yes! I had to subscribe! Love this performance from Whitney. Please if I may request Whitney Houston's "I'm every woman" or "I believe in you and me". Thank you for reacting to the 👑 Whitney
Hey...recently discovered your channel and had to subscribe. I enjoy your content and as a musician and R&B/Soul/Funk/Pop fan, I especially enjoy those reactions. Looking forward to more reactions like - Mariah, Whitney, Sade, Luther Vandross, Michael Jackson, etc. Great Whitney reaction to this live performance. You should react to her rendition of The Star Spangled Banner (1991 National Anthem). ❤
@@bridgethegapreactions You're welcome! Oh, OK...I figured you would be familiar with MJ. I think you'll enjoy a journey of Sade and Luther Vandross. They both have a vast discography/video catalogue to choose from - live and studio recordings from 80s to 00s. Would love to see you react to Sade - Smooth Operator, Sweetest Taboo, Is It A Crime. Luther Vandross - A House Is Not A Home, If Only For One Night, Endless Love (feat. Mariah Carey).
@@bridgethegapreactions Hey my friend! Cool, glad you loved it. Yes, definitely a killer song and brilliantly performed. It's from the Classic Sade era and will always be on my playlist. I will definitely be looking out for the video! ❤
Hey BTG...saw a thumbnail for Sade, Is It A Crime, clicked on it and...nothing. I can't view it. 😔 Pop up msg says: This video contains content from SME, who has blocked it in your country (U.S.) on copyright grounds.
@@bridgethegapreactions He is now a Smooth Jazz artist, R&B, pop and Gospel as well. He had toured with late Whitney for more than 7 years. He has also played on some of Luther Vandross his tracks. You should listen to the “I will always love you” track instrumental done by him, just beautiful!! At the time years ago when I was introduced to his music, did not know his history with Whitney, liked his style immediately, cannot explain it. It was a surprise later down the road to find out his history him touring with Whitney. Have seen him multiple times and be on Jazz cruises with him.
