well selling Cantona to Man U was heartbreaking and Leeds fans never really forgave Wilko for that, I know he did well for the club after Bremner finishing fourth and then winning the league, but after sellling Cantona and watching him win the league for Man U made me angry especially when Cantona was still living in Leeds!! worse sell in the history of the premier league
its a shame because everything is in place for Leeds to be one of the greatest clubs in the world, we have a massive fan base,a great history, a massive city, a great stadium and training ground, it the perfect club for anyone to invest into, yet its never happened
You’ve only one 6 trophies in your entire history as for a massive fan base you’re a big city compared to somewhere like Sheffield yet you only get 30,000 compared to both Sheffield clubs who both get 30,000 in a city smaller than Leeds. I was at this game. My first trip to Wembley. great game and atmosphere, Leeds fans were louder, even singing 'Liverpool' as the Liverpool team did their 'lap' after the game.

What a day set of leeds got half way down m1 and stopped for breakfast and met 4 liver pool fans. Cosh there s funny bunch taking the piss leeds havnt be to Wembley for years this scouse said to use ive a tow rope in the boot we will hook up and show u the way i was pissing myself. Got to Wembley and still having a laugh with the scouse fans we meet earlier when to the nearest tube station and headed towatds central london must have been around1000 leeds fans and the same amount of loverpool fans enjoying friendly banter and singing songs reached central london and took over this massive pub still all good stuff going on no trouble. Got back to Wembley on the tube a great sing song together and we when r own ways great game even better result it was cantona show but the late gray speed was outstanding but cos cantona scored 3 goals. He got the man of the match. never ever will i forget that day its on par with WINNING promotion
Fowler was a better goalscorer. That goes without saying. Cantona had presence, and could create goals better than anybody in the 90's. He could have tipped the balance. The quality of the defenders was not bad either. The only difference in quality between Man U and Liverpool was a strong manager.
