Is this a 440rb production block or a 400 block made to a 440? I have 440rb in my 65 coronet and f1 intercooled procharger set up will be going on at some point and wanted to know if the 440 block will be good enough?
Its a 440rb block out of a 1970 Chrysler New Yorker. I think the build date on the block is Oct of '69. We went with good MLS head gaskets. Aftermarket head bolts, forged pistons and after market connecting rods. As with most stock components things last long if you dont rev the engine as much. Everything is holding up so far. I highly recommend cog drive belt for the procharger if you dont have one already. We had slippage issues with serp.
