Agreed. Recently took a PS4 with multiple controllers that i no longer use with a good selection of appropriately rated games to a children’s ward, which was a good call because the staff wanted a gaming system for the kids for a while. Went back a few days later to see my girlfriend who works there, and she shown me the kids playing games together on it and they looked happy. Put a smile on my face

I think they do have a great deal of fun doing what they do. Sure the money is import as it's their living, but to them, it's more than just a means to pay their expenses. Josh has said more than once, that he'll never stop doing what he's doing. They are an amazing couple.

That particular video was how I found him as well - and I loved that series - as he did show you can do it by starting from 0 but with know-how. His knowledge of shoes and golf clubs and other sporting goods is amazing - but that can be learned.

Hi Amy. I agree 100% about the length. In fact, I enjoy the longer ones as by the time they end, I've had more time to get totally 'lost' in the contents. Josh and Hayley do such a wonderful job of filming everything, that it is a pleasure to sit back and watch their video.

New Aran Island things like sweaters and shawls are in the $70-100 range these days. I just got back from Ireland last week and sent several Aran things home.

Hi Linda. That's a great idea about 'borrowing' from Mose, however, I can see one problem. I imagine after he has a toy for a while, it might not be in the best condition to sell. But maybe it would sell great, as someone might purchase it as a keepsake. You know, like people always want some item autographed by a celebrity. Maybe Josh and Hayley could auction the item off on What-Not, and also include a paw-print or maybe Mose's picture to 'personalize' the item. :) Hmm, this might give them a whole new line of products to sell. Something that I'm quite sure no other reseller has. Do you think they would be willing to pay a 'royalty' for suggesting the idea? LOL

Though you might consider getting a different icon to use, as what you have doesn't quite fit your name. :) It's true, the seller needs to provide some kind of 'interest or excitement' that will hold the customer's interest. That's true in anything you do that involves others. People have a short attention span nowadays.

I have watched vintage things go super cheap which was worth a lot of money. Then again, I watched a bag of air sell for $45. Soo... sometimes you never know. 😂

As long as it means something to you, then it's a perfect icon for you to use. It's true that you can never tell about people because sometimes they will do the craziest things. I've heard of a guy selling 'pet rocks' and even read about a lady, from I believe Kansas, that wanted to create a personal website just for the fun of it. She had nothing to put in it, but happened to see a big tumbleweed rolling across her yard. That gave her an idea, so she said she had tumbleweeds for sale. Before she knew it, she had friends and neighbours out gathering them just to fill all her orders. It proves that old saying of, 'One man's junk is another man's treasure'. But $45.00 for a bag of air... I think someone has more money than sense. Makes me want to go and purchase a box of zip-lock bags and go into business. 😃 Are you a reseller?

@@tamarasparks8065 Sorry to hear you had a bag stolen. Some people will do anything. I'd think Christine's idea (above) should work, HOWEVER, a person sure would have to keep a VERY CLOSE eye on the bag and not take your eye off it for a second. Maybe place it right in front of you so anyone would have to almost touch you if they tried to steal it.

@@HairyTornado I have been doing that. I still need to figure out an inventory system. The last inheritance was a massive book collection 6 years ago. Last one in, first one out. Now I am down to the last two which is a more eclectic mix. Can't wait to get to the boxes of kids toys which go from my son's 90's toys to some things from my older siblings from the early 1950's. But those boxes are currently buried.

What about a sale directly at your house as a garage/neighborhood sale? Like portion at a portion and finally all is sorted and researched , after you did it certain times? Do as much as you can and your house will also be decluttered? Good luck👍

@@gabrielebruhl1218 I had given up on yard sales here by 2016. I inherited a house that is on the outer edge of a distressed city. My house is cut off from the majority of Chester, PA by I-95 so we don't have the problems here that the more industrial side of Chester has. But the reputation of the city has made it difficult as no one wants to come to Chester to pick things up off Marketplace or for a yard sale. The last one I had I posted on several Facebook groups for yard sales. Posted it as a $1.00 sale. Everything a dollar. I got all of 6 people. I have started putting things on Facebook Marketplace again this last week as I have some things that I just do not want to ship. I have thought about sending some things to the local auction house. ANd I started doing live sales on my channel to help move it all along.
