Excellent selection Mike. I must get the Emma Anderson. I’ve been concentrating on Miki’s different incarnations and neglected Emma. That Dead Can Dance boxset looks fantastic. Mike
Great video Mike and awesome CDs!! Gave ya a shoutout in my latest video of Toad The Wet Sprocket. Looking forward to your CD boxset videos. Also, love the Cocteau Twins! Have a great week!
Great CD's Mike, those delux albums are nice, they always catch me out by releasing them so l end up buying them twice. The Whale album looks lovely, one l need. Wow Dead Can Dance package is superb. I may jump on this tag.
@@broke.on.records Looks like they are doing Cuckoo, out in March, but still nothing for the 2 I showed. Rights are controlled by a different label than Doppelganger and Cuckoo.
I bought my 1st CD player in 81 / 82 ( for $ 999,99 )& im still using it til this day....Ive been buying cds since 81 / 82 & have never looked back !!!!! got rid of all my vinyl in 81 / 82 wen I started buying cds... in my opinion cds are still the best quality over everything else never have 2 worry bout the snap crackle pop or skips....
oh yeah they were but were expensive at around $80 a pop....there was a substantial good amount of rock / pop cds then mostly imports but most cds in 81 / 82 were classical...in 81 / 82 I probably had 100 cds....@@playvinylinthemilkynight1879
Check out the soundtrack to an early Tobey Maguire film Joyride. The soundtrack is pretty cool. All 4AD bands like Pale Saints, Lush, Spirea X, His Name is Alive, Tarnation, Dif Juz, This Mortal Coil. Also the soundtracks to all Greg Araki films are awesome! Shoegaze, Britpop, 90s Indie Rock.
