In this video we will show you the water supply of Sargodha city which was constructed in British Era. This water supply system was constructed in 1925 and its area is about 25 acres. In fact this is one of the biggest water supplies of Pakistan. 4 big ponds and 11 small ponds were constructed in this water supply to store water from which some ponds were constructed underground. A pump room was constructed on every pond which has been scrap today. The big engines were installed to run this water supply which was ran with oil and after that motors were started. Now all the engines became scrap and will be auction soon. There was a huge collection of trees here which is now decreasing because the cutting of trees is continuous by trick. The birds and wild animals live here in large numbers in which wild dogs, cats, mongoose, jackal and snakes are noteworthy. Ponds have been changed into dirty pools and water become critical dirty and poisoning. This water supply cause the diseases. There is no arrangement of cleanliness there and large numbers of fishes are present in these ponds. Citizens come here for hunting and a forest of bushes have grown everywhere and abandoned people come here to busy in bad activities. The snakes, scorpions, tortoises, frogs along with fishes are found in these ponds in large numbers and now people have started to throw garbage near these ponds because the boundary wall of this water supply has fallen across. The main building of water supply has breakage and crevice is everywhere. The government should take action in this matter. I hope you will like this video.
