Thank you man! You’ll need the HD grill as well, the brackets are moved lower so that the HD grill can fit

I’m about to do the conversion on my 05 tahoe, do I NEED a HD hood? After I drop the bumper down with the hd pad, the original hood should fit right? Correct me if I’m wrong.

You’re right, you don’t need the HD hood. You can drop the bumper down and have the HD pad and Grill with the original hood, it will fit as good as the HD hood. The HD hood just completed the front end for me

They should have some screws for adjusting the headlight depth and angle on the top of the headlights! That should help close any gaps and line them up!

Some of the headlights are adjustable they should have screws on them to change the angle and fill in the gap

You can use the same headlights! I just decided to upgrade mine, the headlights are the same for an HD truck of those years

Right before the point where the bracket bends just as long as you make a straight level line from there you’ll have enough space to cut it and weld it

Howd you do the lower bolts? Didnt need to cut the lower mounts?

After you cut the mounts and weld them 1.5 inches lower, the bolts won’t fully screw in. I tightened them as much as I could and it held great. You could drill a hole through the mount to let them fully pass through but I thought it unnecessary

Yeah it can! Fenders, headlights, headlight brackets, bumper, hood and grill. I want to say they don’t require any cutting

You have to head it up where it was folded with a hair drier or heat gun!

Yes I used the same metal bumper but I put the HD bumper pad and then the z71 lower valance on it

It depends on where you got it from but after you make the cuts it should fit perfectly. Mine took a bit of man handling to clip in
