@@JefeLTX hey!! Its the original oem hitch … it has total of 8 bolts 6 to the frame and 2 that go to the oem bumper… when you install the 2014 bumper it does not have no where to put the 2 bolts that go in the oem bumper. Ive used it like that couple of times nothing too heavy tho…. You should be fine because most after market hitches only have 4 bolts that hold them to the frame . But still be careful if your hauling something to heavy.
Do you think I can use the same brackets from the original bumper? Or do I need the brackets for the 14+ bumper I'm thinking of buying one but it doesn't have brackets
Mines a 1500 …. But the 14-18 bumpers are the same i believe the only thing that changes is the plastic on top is fatter on the 2500 bumpers but the brackets and everything else should be the same … but should not make a big of a difference since the bodies on the 99-07 are slightly smaller

You know what im keep an eye out to see if i find black one … the only reason i did it to my other truck is to be able to use it because im short and the truck is high lol never though it would look that good lol
