Love the motor build, that's an insane amount of torque, love the truck color, but very disappointed in the exhaust note. I don't think chambered mufflers sound good on Magnum engines at all. Way too hollow and empty sounding. Raspy maybe, idk.
It's a 99. Why would he go backwards to a (virtually) untunable OBD1 system? The 96+ OBD2 system is completely tunable and far superior to 95- OBD1 computers.

Agreed. Auto is good for the dragstrip, but a 3speed is kinda sad. If it's dedicated to the strip, that's probably fine, tho a 2spd powerglide would save weight and parasitic losses. If it's a street/strip, shoulda kept the 46RE instead or a 4L80E if you didn't want that.
@@bbc454nos I'm aware that that's a GM transmission, as I previously owned a Chevy before my Dodge, but a lot of people swap the 4L80E into a lot of other vehicles because of its simplistic design, computer control, and relatively cheap price compared to other similar transmissions
