My little Chihuahua, Lulu, is 14 years old. She is super spry and healthy. That lifespan fact is incorrect. One of the longest lifespans of the dog breeds. 😊
@@ladybugglover on Superbowl Sunday morning my Lil 4lb Chihuahua, MoJo, passed away 🥹. He was 16.5yrs old AND was dealing with kidney failure the last 3+ yrs(was on kidney diet - had lab work done every few months. His last labs done approx a month prior to him passing, the Vet said he was about 10-15% function of 1 kidney!,He passed with my arms around him, my head resting up against him, telling him how much I loved him & how special he is. I was crying like a baby. He died sleeping peacefully. His heartbeat and breathing just stopped 😔. I knew it was coming. The day & nite B4 he just started refusing food, no matter what it was. He'd just turn his head away. This is EXACTLY what my brindle Pit did 5yrs ago the day prior to him passing. MoJo and I sat up all night with him(they were best friends. MoJo would climb onto him when he laid down & sleep up ON his back, side, HEAD/NECK!, etc. I've got pics of it that are super cute). My Pit never once growled, snarled or lifted his lips @ MoJo. Mo could walk under him, right up between his front legs when he was EATING & eat from the same bowl @ same time & my Pit was fine with it. My Pit, Scoob was scheduled to be put to sleep the next Day w,/, My vet. He died in early AM @ had MoJo and I with him. He was sleeping as well when he passed. Scoob, my pit was just shy of 14. I miss both everyday. They were Prince's. 🥲
i have a deer head and shes half smooth half long haired. her name is RIRI. shes loving but also a runner whenever i let her off the lead shes gone. im suprised im not a size 0 haha
Sorry to hear your chis is a runner. My first chi, Max was a runner but if you know that he’s an escape artist like your chi and my Max RIP, is not on the pup it’s totally on us as owners . I kept working with him and got better but still loved the wild side.
Well if you stick your face right down in any dog's face they'll probably snap at you they can be biters but that's if they're not corrected when their babies we had one when I was growing up and as far as I know she never bit anyone most dogs if they don't know you and more often little ones will do that because they feel intimidated

These are definitely not all "facts". The size range you gave is only accurate for apple heads and is on the low end. Deer heads are taller, longer and average a pound or so more. The life expectancy is way off. An extremely conservative estimate is 12 to 14 years. Many chis live to see 20.
Well, that was odd, Chihuahuas live a lot longer than that. You need to get your facts straight before putting out “information“ in a video for others to learn from : /
I never met one of those little dogs that wouldn’t bite you on the face if it got a chance. I call all of them face biters. I saw a lady at Home Depot the other day with one in her shopping cart and I asked her if it was friendly. She said no he’ll bite you on the face if you get close. I said, that’s exactly why I call them face biters 😂
@@HellenaHanbasquet I have successfully trained more dogs than you’ve probably ever met. My pointing retriever dogs were part of the breeding program at the world’s largest Drahthaar kennel for decades. Those are German wire hair pointer’s. I’ve also owned Dobermans, German shepherds, malamutes and standard poodles. And when I was young Boston terriers. Chihuahuas are very problematic with their aggression. Nobody loves dogs more than I do. There are lots of great breeds that are very small, and Chihuahuas are not one of them
@TucoDog-ho6fw filing that under shit that never happened. If youre a dog trainer and you've been bit by every chi then it's 100% you not the dogs. That statement was not the win you thought it was. I hope people see that before paying you, what an awful track record for a trainer! I'm second hand embarrassed for you that you said that with your whole chest.
@@HellenaHanbasquet I speak from experience. I learned from a pro but I’ve only trained my own dogs. I’ve met about a dozen Chihuahuas throughout my long life and every one of them was a vicious little shithead
