@@leeharwood9624very good shout about the green one as it has the home colours on the collar. Neither alternative kits from last season had some black and white, not even the badge. Can't see us using this 3rd strip unless we're playing a club with green and white in the ECL like Real Betis, Sporting Lisbon or Rapid Vienna. I don't dislike this 3rd thing but I seriously doubt I'll be bothering, but I have the home already and awaiting the "St Etienne/Nigeria homage" coming soon. I would say all three of last year's were on point and this one's a bit uninspiring for me, bit like the white "Newcastle Brown Ale" shirt from around 1999.... The blue with yellow trim reminds me too much of that Wimbledon bunch of thugs that c*** Kinnear was managing in the 90s.... We need a yellow with green collar next time around, a subtle touch for Bruno & Joe to feel like they're wearing their national sides shirt. I'm quite sure Alex Isak wouldn't mind a yellow top either, being Swedish
@@jdm_john8240 I feel the same way as you. Love the new home top, this green one has a Nigeria/Saudi/St Etienne/Cercle Brugge vibe. This new one makes me think Wimbledon 90s & that 5h1t Kinnear with his horrible pet dwarf Wise. Other than Fulham or Spurs I can't see where else we'll wear it unless its obviously for European football.
1000's of knitting experts will be debating that stitching today.. some wanted a crocheted diamante font and some wanted a french hemline... you are right ... they are weirdoes haha
I'm not really sold by it to be honest, but I don't hate it. Last season's blue was so much nicer. I will say the luminous yellow works well to make the Noon sleeve panel blend in a lot more. They are probably cursing if the advertising doesn't stand out more, the way it does on the home & the green 2nd tops. 6:49 loving those retro home shirts in the corner! The old Greenalls "Umbro Barcode"😊 The badge peeling issue is nowt new. I have a 94 ASICS McEwan's Home top with the PL badges on the sleeves and my dear old late Mam sewed them onto the shirt because the glue was crap. She also stitched a number 9 (Andy Cole) onto it with a big black panel. Had a commonly known issue with the 1998 metallic blue Adidas away shirt with the Newcastle Brown Ale logo......Again, dear old Mam and her needlecraft skills came to the rescue for me. Another Adidas failure was the daft Northern Rock logo panel on the 09/10 home top, which after a few washes, crumpled up and looks utter crap. I won't wear it because it just looks stupid. Damn shame cos it was a good looking top and a nice throwback to the late 80s Mirandinha kit.
Give it a couple of days and it will be on DH Gate for £15 I know the quality can vary but some fans simply can't afford the prices myself included Last season I payed £69 for the Saudi theme 3rd kit , also got all three kits off DH Gate for £52 total When washing any shirt I always put it on low temp 30c quick wash with No fabric conditioner
The thing with the badges isn’t an issue with the badge itself, they are supplied elsewhere they are supplied to every other club, the issue is either how it’s being applied or the fabric Castore are making their kits with Edit: I wrote the comment while watching the video, you seem to confirm what I suspected
My first one had the SELA logo slanted, popped into store to swap it and the amount that had the logo off centre was annoying. Some started under the C, A and even S on the Castore logo. Took 15 minutes to find a straight one
Had to order mine online unfortunately, my home top took five weeks to arrive. Wonder how long this might take. Hopefully before I’m up for the Sela cup
Is the Castore quality generally bad? I've been wanting to get one of the new kits but I've heard that loads of people have had problems with it. Trying to not have it arrive here in the US and then have a badge fall off.
just received mine from sports direct online as i live in lincolnshire and its turned up with the sela logo missing off the front and the noon sponsor missing off the sleeve, same old castore problems. lets just say im fuming after paying £11.99 next day delivery for it.
Should wash your footy tops together or put them in a mesh laundry bag on a cold wash. Some idiots he sbe been putting them on 40/50 washes and wondering why badges and name's peel off
5th place only allows teams with a high enough algorithm to get champions league. It was a cop out for all of the the teams who wanted to set up their own league. That gives them a higher chance. While at the minute , Newcastle, villa and Brighton are all good options for European places in the coming seasons
@@lstapleton6639 I think it’s as confusing as FFP , I saw a video a couple of weeks ago and the person said it was this way , they showed some details on the situation, so I’m going on that until I see official uefa confirmation
I wish the Noon badge was colour aligned with the shirts, it works well with this one but I wish it was black and white on both the home and away kit, only small niggle really, otherwise excellent shirts
I was 2XL last year but I like them a little longer than most, this year though I’m an XL on the green away kit. Haven’t got the home as it was sold out last time I was in toon
@@Charlieb82 when the new training ground is complete it will have at least one smaller stadium like man city has make the training stadium temporarily larger or do it one stand at a time there must be a way
Is no one else nervous about UCL font still not being signed off? Has every other British Team’s signed off? If so, stinks of something dodgy going on to protect ‘the Top 6’ of the Big Teams of UEFA Cup’s not wanting us to get to-where we deserve to be. No favourites, no more, no less… how long had UCL been going when we qualified for the first time? How many league positions qualified? Any thing else like a Newcastle Record in the UCL? 11:02
9:43 sorted it out? they made it worse .. surely thats not acceptable man E .. then the CA. but least sorted the IT out😂😂 11:44 my nephew paid £114 for the Liverpool home shirt 😮
