In this tutorial I demonstrate the 9L8B TH, which I expand out of a 2 bight turk's head into a 5L4B, then into a 7L6B and finally into a 9L8B turk's head.
This is the first tutorial, the next will show you how to make a pineapple interweave into it.
Enjoy the video!
Music by Kevin MacLoud and Jey Row.

Tying this as a decorative knot to hide the ends of the Star Triaxle weave I've done as a protective wrap on my homemade canoe paddle. It's taken 3 attempts but I think I've got it right this time 🙂 (Took me 3 attempts to do the Star Triaxle too but the paddle's looking really good 😁)

I know you don't like to give the amount of cord cause you can always expand the knot. But sometimes it would be helpful if you gave the amount you used to tie whatever you're making in the tutorial. It would give a baseline amount.

I know it depends on the diameter of the object that you are wrapping, but I would like to wrap my steering wheel with this weave. Approximately what would be the amount of paracord in feet per inch of weave? Thanks

"The not is knot very hard to tie." I sure hope so! I've tried so many times to get this right but I always screw it up somehow.

Hey! We learn by doing so keep practicing! You can break the tying process into several steps to make it easier: First step: Tie a 5L4B turk's head: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-9wRGDaslWJI.html Second step: Expand the 5L4B turk's head into a 7L6B turk's head: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-6M7KuIZ7Xlc.html Third step: Finally, you expand the 7L6B turk's head into the 9B8L turk's head as shown later on in this video. Maybe that will help! I wish you success and do stay in touch and let me know how it goes! Mark

9 Part??? Isn't it 9 Lead?
@Paracordguild

Hey there! Parts and leads are the same thing. In leather braiding and braiding in general, parts are a common term. I prefer to use "parts", I find them more descriptive. Thank you for your comment! Mark
