124g is ideal balance between weight and speed. And it is more accurate as well. (It is under sonic barrier) Very smart round. I have 1300 rounds of 9mm FMJ 124g.
Charles Phillips, I think it would go less deeper its a slower bullet plus it's a "Flat Nose". It is important to mention that 147gr gives "failures to feed" to my Beretta 92fs and I also have them in my Glock 17, not so often but it happens, which has made me stay away from buying them. But I will make the test soon¡¡ (124gr vs 147gr) thanks brother!
Yes i have hollow points brother,, but i don't underestimate FMJ despite the fact they are mainly for practice, they can also cause a lot of damage too.
Jack I understand that FMJ can and are occasionally used for self-defense, but it is not my choice. I prefer hollow points and for that reason I'd like to have the evidence I need to make an informed decision!
@@ChrisMcullick Here in Brazil, ballistics experts are recommending FMJ and with the heaviest tip possible, due to better performance on indirect targets and possible barriers such as car doors and windows...
