I meant her Alexis-hating bitchy nymphomania in the first two seasons, before she turned nice businesswoman. Killing the man who was hurting "mummy" was in her subconscious and it affected her.
@@ClarenceFisher Which would explain why Blake exiled Alexis. He didn't do it so much to get rid of Alexis but to protect Fallon. Fallon probably wrestled with this until she was sent off to school abroad and as she said from the first episode, trying to forget her mother and this murder for 16 years. Then to add insult to injury Blake goes and marries his secretary, Krystal--something that Fallon didn't accept for several years. Layer upon layer upon layer of anger and resentment. No wonder she went bonkers before resurfacing.
I can imagine the discussions with the producers “Who could we use to play the younger version of Alexis?” Joan Collins: “NOBODY CAN!!!! I’ll play her, I haven’t changed much, just give me a wig - I mean, another wig - and a pair or jeans... and voilà!!” Emma Samms: “Can I also play the younger version of myself? I haven’t changed much either!” .......
And FINALLY the R.Grimes business is put to rest. What an exaggerated dragged out arc. This scene is so confusing as that man’s name had been going on for seasons. Poor Fallon no wonda she was such a weirdo over all the seasons and had a bon voyage to the ALIENS…. Mommy! MOMMY!!
Production moved from one studio to another between seasons two and three. The mansion set was moved but reconfigured (most notably the staircase) but the studio set was never seen again.
The proper English and over acting was so dope back then lol. I don't think they could pull this off today since people today are so simply minded and have a limited vocabulary. People today just happy with reality television.
@@malcolmgeorge1180 lmao Malcolm we can just watch the news lmao. That is the NEW reality tv lol. They stay trying to blow smoke up our asses. No REAL news anymore. Dudes get the neighborhood gossip at the barbershop and chics get theirs at the weave shop and laundromat☺️
@Dusk Hollow True. but so incongruent with the red leather number she wears on one episode seducing Jeff. Maybe it was found in the Little House on the Prairie leftovers?
So before Roger Grimes, Alexis had an affair with Cecil (which is why Fallon's paternity was in question in Season 2)... no wonder Blake paid her to go away and stay away lol
Does anyone know why Fallon was dreaming of Roger in a intimate way at first, but then eventually they become actual nightmares? Also the entire series basically focuses on the whole Roger Grimes affair that Alexis had, and why she was 'banished'. So why did Roger end up telling Alexis she meant nothing, when we were led to believe that it was an actual love affair? That really threw me off lol
The one time Emma's acting matched Pamela Sue's..... honestly though this is still a bit plotholey. Blake still threw Alexis out...and no one realized what Fallon had done? Could this help explain....her other issues over 25 years? Amnesia TWICE? PTSD? But this whole plotline has plotholes. Remember Roger's Dad kidnapped Little Blake in Season 2....they MENTIONED Roger had gotten paid off (after Blake beat his ass) but then that he DIED....as in YEARS LATER...like around 1980.
@@maestroclassico5801 Yes. Soap opera writers famously write bad plots and then just let them disappear into the ether. They just hit the viewer with drama after drama after drama. Many plotlines are never completed on soap operas. That's just how soaps are.
