Another way of looking at Agniveer is that, govt has reduced Army recruitment in general. If we had no Agniveer, then govt would have to directly hire only the 25% who become permanent. But govt added the temporary 75% as a cushion. Maybe, they can add a few extra layers. Say, next 25% be hired in CRPF, CAPF, territorial army etc. And guaranteed police recruitment from Agniveer. Then our police will become more professional too.

Essence of what SG says is that govt should have actually adhered to spirit of parliamentary democracy and used consultation, debate and discussion to pass these important laws. However, SG is also wary that the PM's base dislikes this approach. Modi is caught between a rock and a hard place. However, nothing in his temperament suggests that he is even capable of any consultative approach, especially when he doesn't do that within his own party, whose members have more in common with him that anybody else in the country.
Many analysts didn't give enough attention to the rise of INDIA bloc before election results, rather failed to anticipate mood of the nation on the ground. If EC hadn't been much biased, over the years, in favour of the ruling party then 2-3% more people would have cast the votes. And that would have been disastrous situation for ND Alliance. Also if INDIA bloc had done meetings 2 months earlier than what it did in last 100 days before elections, the picture could have been a lot different.
Your analysis of agniveer is pretty armchair analyst level. Are you sure that agniveer won't cause division and lack of unity in the Indian armed forces?
Why it will cause lack of unity? 25% will become permanent like non-Agniveers previously. It's just that Army recruitment in general is coming down. So, instead of advertising the few 25% permanent positions, govt added the temporary 75% also.
Stop saying "we all" like you represent every one. Speak for yourself, who gave you the right to speak for everybody? And he doesn't have to tell you whether he's Godi or otherwise, can you not watch news without having so many opinions? Stop being so uneducated.
