It's how it should be. Top tier ground would be so much better if they added larger maps and made it a longer-lasting EC-type format. The current maps are tiny, not fit for purpose. Loading in and seeing maps like Middle East or Abandoned Factory are what made me stop playing ground entirely. And even Air is going to struggle with tiny maps and single lives as they add new long-range aircraft. Gaijin needs to do so much more work on top tier game modes. They can't use the gamemodes made for WW2 tanks and air anymore.

We really need harms in the game so that the A10 is actually usable throughout it's br range. Missile AA need competition. I e stopped using the A10 for cas for this reason. Easier to use an f4 and head to 10000ft
hey, can you link us your command preset ? i built mine while the game keeps adding functionality and now i'm lost with all the possible commands lol, and i don't know how to improve them
Early A-10 has 2 AIM-9L, while Late one has 4 of them; Also Early version use AGM-65B with TV guidance, Late use AGM-65D which is guided by IR signatures and you can use thermal scope with these missiles, also I believe 65D has greater lock-on distance for vehicles. So main difference is in their armament, there also may be some difference with flight models but I'm not sure about that, anyway those are A-10s and they are not really about flight perfomance.
