A 1700's cellar hole out in the woods where we least expected it 

People lived out there hundreds of years ago and it was not easy to find. These old New England colonial sites have been abandoned and deserted forever and the forest is just swallowing them up. Our friend Tim had food this old root cellar and invited us out for a day of metal detecting. The site had been logged and was a bit thin but we did find a few great relics.
