No offense to your wife. But her camera work gives me motion sickness. And I don't get motion sickness. She needs to back off on the zoom, actually point at what she's talking about, and slow down on the movement. This is not meant in a mean way but in the spirit of constructive criticism. Ps. The brod view would be appreciated. Thank you very much for your work.
We purchased this exact house but the larger 28x56 size. Same floors and cabinets. And we modified the interior floor plan to a 4BR 2.5 Bath. It’s getting delivered May 3. We’re so excited.
Now you have it, how is it? Is it what you expected it to be? We bought one a few years back and not from this company. They took a lot of short cuts and a lot of things that shocked us. We were in a situation that we needed the home to live in NOW . Long story short, we are just fixing somethings ourselves. I hope you are happy in your new home!!
@@malissalewis-debruhl8825 We finally moved in last weekend. Sorry for the late reply. We've run into a handful of issues. Nothing major, but so far Cozy Cabins and Zook Cabins have been responsive and are taking care of the issues. The biggest issue we're having is with the floors. They are expanding and lifting in several places. Cozy Cabins is saying its because we have a high humidity issue (which is true). We had a lot of hot, humid, and rainy weather in Massachusets this summer and the house sat for several months without a working HVAC system. We're hoping now that our HVAC is working.. the humidity problem will go away and hopefully the wood flooring will contract, but if it doesn't, Cozy Cabins has promised to send someone up to fix it.
It's beautiful. Love all the windows! But for 320k+, I'd expect a bigger master bedroom, water closet, laundry room with utility tub, a pantry, and that upstairs finished.
You can negotiate with them. I recently purchased this exact home, but a larger model with 3BR 2Bath on the first floor.. and another 1/2 bath in the loft area. And we modified the floor plan to have a walk-in kitchen pantry, larger doors for my elderly mom, metal roof, larger 8' front porch, etc etc. And we're at the same price point as this smaller 2BR home. But the build quality is super impressive and we're excited to get ours next month.
@@randomstuffwithjoe You did well , I can tell you even homes that cost more than this you will find that you still have to put money into them to get what you want. This is the way to go and you get what you want.
for $320k i'd be looking at a 4+/3 tri w/fin bsmt, master super ste, open main fl plan, 2700sf, front porch &/or back deck, 2.5car att gar, fully fenced grassy & treed yard &w/full mtn view! that's the house i used to rent. 1993 construction...sold for $325k. shoulda bought it, but wasn't ready. ...&where i'm moving, they're even (esp acreage) much cheaper!
I believe that their pricing requires the owner to have the site prepared including the basement or footers, well and septic, electricity, and of course any lot improvements.. so bump up the final cost to accommodate these items
The corner cabinet on the counter is called an appliance garage. It holds mixers, toasters, etc. so you can leave them plugged in and just pull them out when you use them.
@@donnamurphy5698 Maybe a newcomer to YT? I've attempted to use I-gram to do video but get cut off after say, a minute but see others with lengthy vids. Oh, well.
Donna Murphy....I agree with you totally on this modular cabin. Yes they have done a beautiful job with the design/ layouts/ staging. But it STILL is a modular home in a zone known for it's frigid temperatures during the winter. My questions would be how great is the foundation? How deep does it go. Questions on power/water/roads/schools. I do like a number of modular homes but all of these issues have to be taken into account and somehow I just don't see one of them still standing after 150 years like a well built home. I lived overseas for 20 years and in CA for 20...I have a good idea what homes cost as I've purchased and sold them. I just could NOT justify putting nearly $300K on one on these. Ellie from Texas
Y'all are good together. I enjoyed the fact as husband and wife are doing it as a family. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK, and may GOD watch over you as you travel.
I absolutely love your videos. And not to talk bad about another Channel but your channel is better than Chance's mobile homes. Thank you for being so great
Hi Jenn! It's good to see you giving us the tour. And omg, I love this cabin. Boy modular homes have sure come a long way haven't they. Thanks for the tour, see you next time.
There would be so many ideas I would have for the upstairs. I love everything about the layout of this place! I love that frosted look in the cupboard. I live in PA, so I would have to take a trip down to Lancaster.❤❤❤❤❤👍👍👍👍👍🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
I love the appliance cabinet on the counter, I would use it to store my kitchen aid and blender. Yay, you found homes close to us. We are only 40 minutes from Lancaster

Your homes were definitely top notch we very much enjoyed them and I think they were very warmly welcomed by our viewers as well. Hopefully it’s has been of some benefit. Would love to come back up and meet you all and maybe even squeeze in a facility tour 😍 if you’d have us
Very beautiful home! Definitely a mountain home feeling! Take your shoes off, grab a 500 piece puzzle & start the vacation in this cabin.😍 Nice job Jenn, on the showcasing, narrating & recording. The music complimented the tour nicely. 👍👍
Thank you so much for walk through. The sliding Doors throughout WOW that gets A+ What a space saver. Love the corner useable kitchen layout, cabinets and cubby cabinet for coffee maker or what ever else the owner might want in there. Excellent corner space saver. The upstairs is wonderful with that plumbed full usable space for master bedroom or just if a person wanted space, office, ect. Very affordable Low $ 300 thousand. That's a great price for rustic cabin higher end looking building/ Home. Prefab
We bought a modular years ago. If you ever buy one with dormers, make sure they sealed around windows under siding. Two of ours leaked and we had to get repairs.
Like Jen's way of the walk-thru. The soft close is a woman's dream. That appliance 'hidey' cabinet is so ideal. OMGOODNESS the master ensuite is fabulous, adore the inset door & toilet coziness. Thank ya'll for showing Cozy Homes, I'd NEVER seen or heard of them.
Cozy cabins lives up to its name! This particular 'shop' is located near Lancaster, PA. The area is known for Amish (& Mennonite) families who work hard to earn an honest living. They take pride in their work, doing most projects by hand. The women & girls are talented quiltmakers, cooks, bakers & so on. Their language is Pennsylvania 'Dutch' as they used to call it. Now called Pennsylvania German. You won't be disappointed if you buy from them. Their work is fabulous! Cozy Cabins may not be associated with the local Amish, but these cabins certainly measure up to their high standards!
Wow! That house is beautiful! I like how the manufacturer offers all the different finishes. Very nice. Love that upstairs area! I would never come down lol!
Modular homes / trailers if best offer 20-25 years @ most of trouble free living. Once things start to go its a non stop deal. And at the price where you can buy a real house, that's a bit insane !!! Great video 👍🏼
Omg, I love this! I am in GA and my forever home will be a log home. I have wanted one since I was in my 20/30's. Well, I am now in my 50's and I am going to make it happen. I am so happy I found your log cabin tour channel. Keep the videos coming!
Great video walk-through. I really appreciate you telling us the "base price" and the price "as shown" so I can decide if this would be something I might consider buying. The company's website seems quite stingy with the pricing info so thank you for sharing it!!
I think that corner cabinet is an appliance caddy. The doors are pocket doors. Great thing to have. Beautiful place. Would love to have that and about 10 acres in North Carolina or Tennessee.
I always think that having those crazy high vaulted ceilings are a waste of space. That could be an entire second floor lol. Plus all the heat rises up there making the loft unbearable. Definitely liked the first one you showed way more plus it was way less expensive. Great job on the video as well. Cheers
I love all the pocket doors which creates a much more spacious feel by not having to allow for normal door swing space. I also really liked the very deep windowsills throughout. Lovely for plants, or for cats to sit and look out. Sadly, one doesn't seem to see windowsills in newbuild homes much anymore. Other than optioning a tub in the master bathroom, I would likely lose the ensuite door to the 2nd bath in favour of a bit more wall space for art or bookcases in that room. Thanks for the video.
I know, huh? Back around the late 1980’s, we toured a model cabin 2 bedroom home with a half loft, that was priced at around $29,000. Our incomes have come down since then…..but the price of homes has gotten unbelievably stupid! It’s by design. I always wonder who are the people that are buying these things? What do they do for a living? Sell drugs?!
Fantastic place but a little small for me. But the workmenship is really great 👌great . They did it right for sure now.and great job on the vidio. And its a great thing to be that pretty too
The hiding cabinet used to be called an appliance garage for toaster, coffee maker, can opener. Would like to have seen it oom in utility area for a freezer.
Love it! However, I am a huge fan of carpet, so carpeting would be added to the living room, bedrooms, and closets just to reduce the winter chill and the noise level a little bit, and the unfinished attic would be an extra bedroom and bath with a walk-in closet...bedroom and closet also carpeted, since attics can get pretty cold up there. Oh, and one more thing, the tile flooring this house had in the downstairs bathroom would be in the kitchen, dining area, hallway, and the bathrooms as well. Other than that, this was the most beautiful and perfectly well laid out modular home I have ever seen so far. Thanks for sharing!
Yes, you certainly have to be a lover of wood, which luckily I am. I'm happy to see solid pine throughout, with no veneered particle board. It's a home that never has to be painted and you have to provide change and updates through the use of colorful accessories.
I love this home I've seen it before I'm sure the cost would be lower if you had more drywall and less wood which would be my preference and the extra added cost would be to finish that attic space into a master suite
Beautiful home, I've lived in a real log home and this one is very similar. I would be nice to see the upstairs finished off, probably as a master bedroom and bath. Just slow down some with the camera, makes me dizzy.
one of the things I love abort my inlaws hone or the idea of a cabin is that I LOVE natural light. With these homes is you don't have to cover the windows for privacy(depwndibg on where you put it) If you do t wabt to. I think I woukd put some prettu lacy sheers if I did.
