This Camry was sold to me with the belief that the water pump had gone bad but some research proved otherwise. It's not perfect but its close enough for the price!
My mom bought one brand in 2003 same color and series. She spent 21,000 on it back then to her that was a lot of money she kept it for 18 years and got her money’s worth before selling it to my nephew
Just bought one today 1 owner carfax looked very good all green ✅ 155,00mi 6,250.00 clean no timing belt smog done clean title all I had to get was insurance I left with DMV tags just got out of a 2004 Buick Regal I have 7 years very clean leather interior but the transmission went out so I'm very happy I got a Toyota something I've been wanting I heard they last a long time if you keep up the maintenance.
He is one of the better you tubers fast knowledgeable and he like Toyotas like me mine 04 Camry a little neglected not too bad change PCV valve next coolant and spark plugs if they need it 322.800 mile probably does
Hope you are right about these cars. Just picked up a 2002 LE with the 2.4. Only has 104k on it. Interior is perfect, absolutely perfect. Steering wheel looks brand new too. Older lady had it. Had to do valve cover gasket, spark plugs, serp belt and alternator. Service the trans and coolant service. Super easy car to work on.
Coolant can definitely trick you. I changed my coolant a year ago because it looked disgusting and there was buildup on the radiator cap and when I drained it, it was perfectly fine. It didn't even look the same color as it did inside the radiator cap area.
Another fantastic video, Jimmy. I too have an addiction to Toyotas. I had a 2000 Toyota Camry XLE V6 with 352K Miles, Original Engine and Transmission, ran like a Swiss watch which I sold last year and got a 2008 Honda Accord V6. Wish I hadn't. My next car would be a Toyota Avalon if I'm lucky enough. Thanks again for the top shelf content, Have a Great Weekend!
@@bayfinest1938 There is no V4 Engine in the Accords. There is an I4 though. The Transmission has an Engine problem lol because the Engine eats up the transmission over time if you WOT it often, which I do.
Nice car. Had a few of these. Great cars when maintained properly. These 2.4 4 cylinders start burning oil after a while and ive seen a few grenade from oil starvation or get the infamous timing chain rattles. But good cars overall
Have looked all over internet to find what xle comes with standard as options and what are possible add on options. Have seen many xle's of this generation and they have all kinds of different configurations. Anyone know what are basic xle options and which ones are add ons for a price. What do all xle's have standard and what are add ons? Thanks
Toyota Camry replace the water pump bro I like your video you made a very funny replacing the water pump Japanese cars at the top of their game. You can go over 1000 miles long as you change the oil.
I have 03 camry xle v6 330k miles no oil leaks. Not sure why folks think v6 leaks. But i agree these camrys in goid condition are rare and pricey for old cars but worth every penny. Smooth and reliable as a anvil.
Just bought one - a V6, with 225k miles ... immediately replaced the valve cover and radiator, runs great and hoping to keep it for a few years. Mine is silver with leather interior also :)
I have one of this and it's basically the same as a lexus es330 of the same year but with upgrade materials but pretty much the same car but a few upgrades and tweaks
My grandmother Demetria was from Greece so I'm Greek as well! but if that is original mileage and it has the 2.4L 4 cylinder its worth $4k usd, as long as it was taken care of properly those can easily do 300k miles, the Camry in this video has 268k miles on it today and its still going just fine. I'd offer $3500 or something first to see if you might be able to get it cheaper and save a litte but if not that is a normal price in this market assuming condition is excellent
@jimmyjimjims7483 Dimitra - Δήμητρα. Geia sou from Greece! 😁 Is a blessing to be Greek! 🏛 Wow, so much milage and run so smooth! Awesome! I hope the camry i found has original mileage on it. Yes, it is the 2.4L with excellent interior condition, like new!. I was impressed with how clean this car looks (on the photos). Im not sure about rust underneath the car though, because this car is located on an island. Hmmm. Of course, i will ask for a cheaper price if i decide to go forward with this car 😉
Didn't all XLEs have the digital/auto climate controls and fog lights, also the radio doesn't have the JBL logo on it which means it doesn't have the upgraded sound system that all XLEs have. This car may not be an XLE but an LE.
Its an LE with some dealer options added for sure. Aftermarket wood trim and leather seat covers ,no leather steering wheel, no fog lights ect. I think its cool tho! I wonder how much cheaper it was new than a legit XLE. Interesting little custom package happening here!
The Toyota Camry 16 valve engine is the best I really don’t like the V6 motor you did say the car leaks oil and it burns a lot of gas ⛽️. Valuable information. Thanks for the heads up bro.
@@BovineIntervention. If the car has a 16 valve motor, yes is good on gas. I was talking about the Toyota Camry V6 that’s the one that burns more gas but you have a great vehicle that you show me. It is good on gas.
@@hondacivic.japanese8265 OH yes you're right I read it wrong. Also I've heard people swaping from the 16 to 6 and the engine blew and tons of other problems.
The market is crazy high right now so even junk is going for $1000+, I have a video on another Corolla coming soon and hopefully they deliver the Acura I bought within the month
This isn't Atlanta, the market here is very high right now and it sold the same day for more than I paid so to me that’s good business, profit is profit (minus state fees and title costs)
Oh yeah? I bought a 2010 Toyota Corolla XLE with 2354 miles the other day for no more than $5.86. It's mint, clean title, all the bells and whistles, no issues whatsoever. Beat that.
I have seen this gen xle in many option levels, my 03 xle v6 leather dual.power front seats sunroof spoiler electrinic ac heat jbl stereo no fog lights came with steel wheels. Full power cruise etc.. put some alum. Wheels on it. No heated seats is about only option mine did not get.
Its by no means a lie, my ES300 leaked oil like crazy and almost all the 6 cylinder Lexus models I've owned leaked (usually from the camshaft seals), its one of the main killers of those cars because people run them dry and seize the motors. Granted it takes until 230k miles or more to leak but they live so long thats just something thats going to happen. Great cars otherwise
Do you own a Lexus? I've got an ES330 with only 132k miles and it's been leaking oil since 80k miles. Another RX300 I was going to buy had the whole bottom of the engine black from leaking oil.
