@@HumanontheLoose honestly I had to rewind the video and watched that part over because you made me cry.. so I have been building out an older specialized carve mountain bike for a bikepacking adventure. I saw a dirty teeth video and was inspired.. then I started to watch anything I could on bikepacking and your videos started to show up. And of course I started watching them.. only to realize you were making me laugh. I love the honesty in your videos. Not to mention the respect I have for your journey. So thank you. I would live to know your route if you get the chance. I think you called it the cowboy route or trail.? But anyway love the videos!!!
I thought the feet told a story. I really like how Naomi don't spare the good, the bad and the ugly - to coin a Clint Eastwood classic western. ( your feet ain't ugly Naomi, don't take the wrong way).
Yeah my feet have never been anything great to look at although I did date a guy with a foot fetish and he used to have me wear socks to so he wouldn’t get excited. Truth!
@@wayneofboise742 Naaaah. Everyone has their thing. The story behind why it became his fetish is wonderful. Because of him my feet became less ugly to me.
@@HumanontheLoose I am off to hike the ski hill across from my house. Does this count? I used to travel all over north america with my rv to explore all of the tiny towns. One day again !
@@HumanontheLoose Haha, you can tell I'm catching up going back in time. The YT algorithm keeps feeding episodes I have not seen. Nice you revisited it !
Sadly most of us don't slow down enough to breath in our surroundings. We travel through life with blinders on maybe afraid to look too far to one side for fear we realize how much we are missing. YOU on the other hand soak it all in and relish in your next adventure. 🥂 to you!
That is exactly what I loved about Naomi's comment in this video about not forgetting why she chose to ride a bike for this trip. That was a sublime little comment that would be easy to miss ( unless one has perhaps done a tour or two oneself, in which case the comment would resonate right to the soul. Thanks Naomi)
You had me from, "This was my morning." Haha. Another great one Naomi! Thanks. And thanks for sharing what you are doing now on Strava, so glad to be able to follow along. Looks like you found a really great place to bike pack again this year! Good on you !
That was a nice long downhill spin. It reminded me of a day I went 125 Miles by bicycle. There was a following wind from Van Horn Texas to El Paso Texas. Some of it was up and down. Then there was a long downhill into the Rio grande valley. Quite a ride.
Beautiful by the rivers on this day. Hope you had some earplugs to escape the kiddos. Btw, tell Revelate of your experiences, it's how they get better.
Such a great experience, I truly can’t wait to do this one day. So tell me, what has been the biggest learning experience doing this trip? Cathartic? Would you do it again? Emotional? What’s goes through your mind with so much free time?
“Planning to do this one day” 🤜🤛 “Learn?” My intense passion for embracing the unknown always proves there is nothing to fear except fear itself! “Again?” I would but differently because I’m not the personality to repeat. “Mind?” What’s right in front of me. Cleanses my brain. I think most listen to music which would stir thoughts so that’s why I go in silence. I want to be forced to think of absolutely nothing except what’s right in front of me.
