Just when I think I can't enjoy another Naomi Stock video more, you go and do it again Naomi. Glad to finally find out what your favorite pizza is after several eludes to it previously. And it does sound awesome ! And it don't taste like water... still laughing at that one. And two bugs washed out of your hair ! Damn. Great entertainment 😄!!!!
HA!!! Happy you find them entertaining Dante! Apparently you're not alone! Initially I was going to edit those parts out but then said "Fuck it!" It's who I am and I didn't shoot this thinking it would go on RU-vid (as shared in my bio). Thank you!
That was an amazing experience! Thank you so much for showing us all these cool little places along your route. I think Darby is on my bucket list now.😄 The post-apocalyptic scenery too! Wow
“JUST SOMETHING THAT DOESN’T TASTE LIKE WATER” Oh man that had me laughing so hard. I just did a weekend trip, very very hot. Drank so much water I got sick of it. So I can relate.
@@HumanontheLoose I live close to Toronto Canada so I did a weekend trip near Algonquin Provincial Park. The route is called Griffith Highlands Loop found on Ride with GPS. Lots of lakes, rivers and streams. Jump in with all my cycling clothes on, cool off, then keep pedaling. No restock points, all wild camping. I did park at a general so when I got back it was ice cream sandwiches, chocolate bars iced tea and coke. So good!!!
Keep’n it perfectly perfect. So fun to take in ur wisdom… 👍 Brilliant! So positively perfect! Thanks for making my day!!! Nice to know, I’m not the only one who has deep conversations with oneself.. P-A-N-C-A-K-E! 🎉👍👍
I'm really enjoying your comments! Thank you for engaging my channel and sharing such generous, inspiring, and flattering words! Gosh - I'm reeeeeeally craving pancakes now for some reason!
This is THE BEST video yet! The landscape was breathtaking even though there was absolutely nothing for miles! But personally the mountains is my favorite place. (And I had to laugh. Little Debbie's Zebra cakes are the best. Lol) You have excellent taste in food and treats! Congrats on a great day on the road. Your videos never disappoint, I look forward to seeing your latest post. But this trip is definitely one I would like to go on. Thanks for posting, oh and sorry about the shoe. I feel so bad I want to buy you another pair. Thanks again and Enjoy!!
@@HumanontheLoose Your very welcome Naomi, I'm glad I can make you smile, that's always my daily goal, making somebody smile or laugh. Your videos are great, I never would have known your not a pro at making great video's. Nice job. Take care and enjoy.
Just finished outfitting my Trek Checkpoint for Bike Touring this spring somewhere in Cali...have watched all but one or two product reviews from your video uploads since yesterday...Very timely and educational....thanks so much for the first hand look at what I'm likely to face on my first tour ride.....very well done....
Damn, how did this vlog not get suggested to me; something is very wrong. Like I said on Strava, I am late to the party. You are a hoot. I love this adventure. There’s got to be a sequel; 1,2,3,4, and 5. I have been binging episode after episode, and I have to get ready for my own 100 mile Idaho ride(Feb19th)! I am subscribed. Cheers…wherever you’re 2 wheeled adventure is today
Haha...your comment made me laugh out loud! Well...the good news is the party is embedded on RU-vid and can be relived whenever you like. 😉 We'll see about a sequel. I'm not sure yet. I have to figure that out before this ends. Your enthusiasm for my channel is truly humbling. Thank you for sharing your experience. It inspires me! Your "100 Mile Idaho" sounds wonderful. Oh wait...you just left. 🤜 🤛
That looked like the prettiest section so far. Very nice! Bummer about your shoe(s). Those things are damn expensive, too! ps. I've trained for a couple half ironman races... and climbing +5000ft still isn't appealing. 😜🤣
I thought I'd watched all your videos but somehow missed these. Good for me, not so good for my chores. Thanks again for your hard work bringing me such great entertainment. You might reach out to Little Debbie for funding. Maybe a top of the line bike with zebra stripes. You would definitely make it look good. Your good at what you do! Happy trails
My pleasure - and - what a great idea - now that would be a kick ass looking bike!! As a back up way to know what you’ve seen every video title has the “Day” after it. My current ride I’m adding S2 representing season two but my first year of posting I think I just put the day only.
Painted Rocks Lake was stunning and that countryside.. wow! Let's hope someone had the forethought to grab the first shoe and made a pair! What a journey. A candy shop and you get NO chocolate?!? I get the melty thing, it would have been the first to go! Yum!
Wouldn't it be cool if the person who found the first shoe/second shoe - found this video and let me know? Crazier things have happened! I'm not the chocolate gal - you are. 😋
My last tour by bicycle was a few years ago, 5 or 6. I traveled from southeast coastal Florida to San Diego, California. It was all paved roads through the southern tier of states. I free-camped most nights wherever I could hang a tarp and stretch out. I cycled through New Orleans, Houston, San Antonio, El Paso, Tucson, Yuma, Winter Haven, Pine Valley into the big city.
If you ever come to cycling by way of South Florida or Fort Lauderdale or Miami Florida you can kick back here for a while, no cost. There is the Everglades out here. There is also the Atlantic coast Bicycle route. That goes from Key West Florida to the state of Maine. The weather should just now begin to cool off just a little bit.
@@johnshaw8228 "Niiiice" HA! Super kind of you! Ironically I'm seeking a 3 month stint somewhere but most likely will stay near Utah...maybe Phoenix...
Hmm...great question! Would I give up that pizza to have not lost a MTB sneaker...hmm....NOPE! After 72 miles of bikepacking in 95 degree weather - Pizza will win EVERY time! I ate the whole thing! 😋
the bad Nutrition, the pill popping, i'd end up with Sickness [upper respiratory infection/cold/flu sx] i'd have to take a high protein raw diet with me i made up this little wordplay for the kids, i say try to get good NESS, "goodness", good = Nutrition, Exercise, Sunlight, Sleep = at least 3 x a week = never get sicknesses
I called them - small family company - and this is what they recommended for my trip. Keep in mind you'll want to put about 400 miles on it to break it in first. selleanatomica.com/products/h2-next-generation-saddle?variant=16271889203302
I haven't done any bikepacking/touring since High school in the 80's, but I was very fortunate to have not lost anything back then. Total bummer to lose a good pair of shoes, chain cleaner, and lube. Hope you were able to at least replace the chain lube. I actually had a friend forget to zip up his seat bag on a 40 mile mtn bike trail ride we were doing. He literally lost everything, but fortunately we found everything on the return trip. Good thing it was an out and back.
Ya - it was but luckily my sandals worked beautifully and I never missed my Five Ten's! WOW! That would have made for a funny drone segment! Happy he got it all back! So - when's your next bikepacking trip - I think it's time! 👍
