I’ve had mine for four years now. No issues except changed the battery because I don’t drive it much in the winter. I went with a dinan tune because my warranty is still good though next year. More mods after that.
Hey man just found your channel good runs ! I have a M6 also with DME stage 3 tune with Full Meistershaft exhaust and RK Carbon front intakes car is a beast as you just shown love it going on 2 years !
deel eem I Love the car has been very solid for me , I owned it for 2 years and no problems (knock wood ) just had to change a battery within that time , If you join the forums you can see it’s a very solid platform, Make sure you have it inspected, check for a clean Carfax , make sure it had its 1000mile oil change
Anyways f06 m6 my goal car for one day. Love the s63tu with catless downpipes 😍 & maybe valvetronic or meisterschaft exhaust? Definitely want 700whp one day. Suck nj has shit roads
I have a f10 m5 same mods but with a full exhaust methanol injection and running e85 it’s getting boring dusting people can only imagine when I upgrade the clutch for more torque and go stage two turbos
@@parishall114 quick question guys are you cutting boost in 1st and 2nd gear? I cut 20% in first and 10% in second.. not sure if i should have done that thanks
I've got f13 650 and got gapped outta my mind last night by an M6 Gran coupe. Granted I've ran a couple stock/ near stock M6's and they just mildly walked away. This M6GC was a sleeper and the tubos whistled and blew my doors off. What's the reliability like with stage 3 as a daily running it hard 2-3 a month?
@@MotorCityRacingChannel aah ok thank you bro. I thought that with a stage 1 you could get 700 hp approx. and with a stage 2 750. That's why I ask, sorry for my ignorance, but I thought that with a stage 3 you could get much more than 720 hp 🤔😅
@@lucasnaya with stage 3 you can definitely get over 700 whp but its limited to stock turbos and stock clutch. Stock clutch can only handle up to 680lb torque. If i upgrade turbos and clutch with stage 3 tune it can be turned up to 26-28lb of boost which is over 750whp.
@@MotorCityRacingChannel Nice!! If you don't mind me asking what did it cost, I'm looking to do a stage 2 DME soon on stock turbos. They list I need aftermarket dps with heat wraps, new spark plugs and air filters. total the job with the stage 2 tune will be around 5900 after all parts and labor
@@WheelSeeChannel The tune I got when it was on sale for around $1200 or $1500 can’t remember. Downpipes, spark plugs, coils, and o2 sensors I bought online and installed at a friends garage.
@@MotorCityRacingChannel I just perfected this sequence in mine! Never fails!!! Love the content brother!!! Car is a monster? What's the power figures I'd u don't mind me asking? I'm running 725 currently on my 2014 coupe. It's a dinan built car, port injection, for e85, and Dp.
I have a bmw m6 dme stage 2 tune catless downpipes turner exhaust msr intakes this car is so fast it’s sad over 800 hp can’t smash the gas peddle under 70 it will burnout!!
Hi. Looking to buy a 14-16 m6 with low miles 20-30kish. I want to keep it stock, I’m a mechanic and could work on something if it went wrong as long as it wasn’t too complicated. I live in MI where last I heard Troy lived. I would say 80percent of my driving is chill. With a few hard pulls/ launches per drive. Do you think this is a good car for me? The m6 is my dream car. I just don’t want to spend 50k and maintain and drive it pretty respectfully to suddenly have to drop another 10 or 20k if something goes terribly wrong. Any help would be really appreciated - josh
I have a 13 with 17k miles. Being that you work in cars you will save a ton. Most of the cost associated with these cars are labor rates not necessarily parts. Stupid things tend to break window actuators etc. I would recommend doing rod bearings at 50k miles though.
