@@younghentaii1772 At first Flament Nagel/Paracelsus wanted to use A.B.A. to move around, but the more He was getting involved with Her, the more appreciation, empathy and concern He had towards Her. And A.B.A. waste no time in finding a way to create a perfect artificially-made humanoid body in order to transfer His Mind and Soul so They can live a happy married life.

​@@younghentaii1772I think the lore is something like ABA was obsessed with keys because she used one to obtain freedom from her captors, so the demon axe took the form of a key to entice her to carry it around so it could control her, but it felt empathetic towards her situation and decided not to. After a while ABAs negative emotions forced the demon axe to stay in key form so it cant transform back even if it wants to. I was told that the demon, after being sealed by the slayer, was humbled becauss of the defeat so thats why it developed empathy and compassion and why it didnt immediately control ABA from the start.

It's actually not too bad! Guilty Gear Strive has the easiest execution in the series so far. There are also characters purposefully made to have easier combos like May and Elphelt. I'll have combo guide shorts for them posted soon!

@@creampuff85 I also mostly play on controller. I use a PS5 Dualsense for every fighting game asides from Street Fighter. For some reason I can only drive impact on reaction with an arcade stick 🤷🏽‍♂️.

@@Bubby1122 I'd recommend just playing training mode, combo recipes, and arcade mode for a while before jumping online. Frame data is the first thing I look at in training mode so I can see what's plus or minus which will dictate what your pressure looks like. You can also just mess around with movement and different buttons to get used to the controls. The combo recipe mode basically gives you infinite combos to learn which I personally think is a lot of fun. Then arcade mode is great for practicing your combos on a target that's actually moving and learning how to block different characters attacks. Eventually after playing a lot of these three modes I'd recommend trying out online.

The soundtrack of this game is peak. The game is also by far the easiest Guilty Gear to get into so I highly recommend trying it out! A lot of characters' basic combos are only around three to five hits, so it's really easy to learn how to stop mashing on offense and instead do something more optimal.

Thank you! I found these combos to be a pretty good start before moving on to more advanced combos where you switch between modes mid combo. The combos in this short show a lot of the common trends you'll see in every A.B.A combo.

Best way to learn is to just jump in! You don't even have to play against people online to have fun; sometimes I'll just spend hours in training mode learning new combos/tech for different characters.

I'm a filthy casual and love GG:S

I'd highly recommend Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising which is by the same developers and has a free to play version. It's a lot easier than Guilty Gear in terms of combos, neutral, and defence. Definitely the easiest modern fighting gameto get into imo and what you learn transfers to every other series. I've got a few GBVSR shorts similar to this one up as well.

@@fluffgod5870I'll make the next short for Happy Chaos then! I try to only put relatively easy combos in these shorts (no roman cancels). They all start with a meterless mid screen combo, optimal dust combo, and a corner combo with super. I'll try get one out by the end of tomorrow.
