Bridget got more eyes on guilty gear, specifically it got a lot of people's eyes on +R, people checked out the game, saw ABA, liked her design, and abunch of people wanted her in strive because of that.@@CantHandleThis6

They haven't included testament in strive. They added some chick with projectiles but it's no testament. Not visually neither gameplaywise.

@@Beans-do6wc I made this argument on LucidButtonMasher's channel before, but I think Slayer already has a very Strive-friendly moveset and I wouldn't be shocked if they translated him pretty directly from Xrd to Strive. Things Slayer is known for: Big Damage on Counter Hit Very strong 6P Dandy Step Things Strive is known for: Big Damage on COUNTER Hit Strong 6Ps While trying to predict Daisuke's vision is always a bit fraught, I would be rather surprised if Slayer somehow lost dandy step in the translation. Meanwhile his counter-hit oriented gameplay, strong 6P, and strike throw mixups really are not out of place in the slightest in Strive. All this is to say I'm pretty confident Slayer will fit right into Strive with fairly minimal changes to his kit.

Could work story-wise with some back yard, time travel shenanigans. Time travel is an established thing, after all. Just been relegated to I-no and Axel, so far, as far as I'm aware. But with that logic Kliff is also on the table.

Justice would NOT work in Strive lmao. Would need a complete character revision.

No IK's, but Strive damage off cS can basically be an IK. Seems like it's easy for her to control the meter to avoid it though.

@@ANIMEILLUMINATI Still gonna be something to watch out for. They switch back without using the strike move and there's gonna be a gap to take a turn.

I think Season 4 will be Jam, Robo-Ky, Venom, and Dizzy. The Season 3 survey dropped in time for Season 4 to be character requests, so we'll see. I think they did a really good job with seasons 1-3 on adding characters they thought people would like, 'cause a lot of those characters ended up being highly requested.

A.B.A was my #1 character so I'm very happy, but I feel you, Dizzy being my 2nd favorite. But she is so popular, pretty sure she will join the cast next season!

They will have to change some stuff about her character to stay PC.

Same here, #1 was A.B.A, 2nd Dizzy. Now I'm in starting next week XD Couldn't find a character I felt like playing with the current cast, before A.B.A's announcement that is.

Panic not really. People panic about Elphelt just because she's very broken in the previous game now Strive have more better character than her in fact base roster might be more broken than most of the dlc character and it's a very good state for this game. Asuka and HC are broken but you literally need a very good understanding with that character. They're not a stupid broken where you don't need any skill to win.

Hating characters, while being happy they are included, is a tried and true FGC tradition.
