A Basic Chuck Key for the Lathe

The chuck key that came with my lathe does the job but is fairly slack, on the smaller side and a little uncomfortable in the hand, using just some basic mild steel I attempt to fashion a new one using the 40 year old Myford ML7-R lathe.
Ideally the part would be case hardened to help prevent wear to the tool over time but I decided against it as this would be difficult with mild steel due to it's low carbon content...that said, I may harden it in a future video if it starts to wear quickly.
