A Beach Invasion with Nowhere to Land on, The Battle of Sagitta | Foxhole WC 112

The blue team had a little speck on land in the middle of our territory, but we didn't expect them to put up defenses like that on the island of Sagitta.
I love LARP islands in this game. :D
And I tried some... newer things with the usual 3D animation explainer too, hope they're not too funky.

Ace here. I drove the rocket arty into the water to prevent capture and I stuck around hoping to steal some type of vehicle but got found in the corner and just talked my way out of a firing squad.

Indeed. The wardens retook Sagitta a few days later, and when we noticed that nobody was there we stole a halftrack, a 250mm pushgun and some other junk

I love it, because the scale is so massive and every move counts, and with the effort you guys already have done, whatever costs the enemy cannot fail 100% right for new players, never stop fighting and learning!!! Failing and learning new ways to coordinate makes this game what it is :) proud of all of the players who stay

Hey, I'm the same TheGuardianWolf that was captaining the Gunboat that supported this landing. Me and my boys were piloting the Krombopulous Michael for almost the whole battle. We managed to trash a bunch of Warden Gunboats and a couple Logi barges. We also managed to trash the barbed wire and steel beam printer they had at least a couple times, as well as their hospital. As I said in the video, No Pile for Wardens. We tried to hit the artillery pieces and the relic base but had no luck with how far inland they were positioned. We managed to stay long enough for the hole to be made but half of us needed to get off at that moment. Glad it made a difference. I've watched your videos on and off, I never thought I'd end up in one. Thanks for the shout man, hope to see you on the field more! Remember Uwu Jima!

And remember, we saw like 248 barbed wire in their bunker base after we rebuilt it.... which means that they had almost 1000 pieces of barbed wire in there, before we captured it and the game burned 3/4ths of the loot, as is the game mechanic o.o

@@BlueLaminate You know that barbed wire and metal poles were full on stacked in the factory... we literally could not make more, so we started to stash them into relic and BB core... This is what happens when us, Warden Navy give randoms the ability to produce barbed wire and metal beams xD Trust me, it was fun even for blue side, our discord was blinking red each time 1 of your landings came up, in the qrf chat. In fact, there are atleast 10 people constatly on the island screaming in the intel chat for help to sagita.

It was really fun to take, I didn't even have time to put the bits where we tried to climb rocks on the side of the island because the beach was such a nightmare to walk through hahaha

Seeing this landing as well as the carnage and seeing on the beach less and less colonial makes me think of this battle in game of throne where the dothraki charge on an army of death and we see the lights go out gradually as a sign that they are all dead xD

@@BlueLaminate Well, the point of that joke format is the 2nd option is really shit, which is accurate. Personally, I see the landings depicted in the video more akin to Iwo Jima, or any of those god forsaken island sieges in the Pacific Campaign: Bloody, desperate, but hard fought victories. Your Siege of Saegio video reminds me of Alexander the Great's Siege of Tyre, which involved turning an island into a peninsula.

@@BlueLaminate Well, it has to do with it being an island. There is also the Siege of Rhodes, but that one lacks machines guns involved more swords. It is kind of weird how many island sieges there were in history.

Well, I've participated in 10 wars, and in 3 of which I was a warden. There are fun people on the warden side, if you just know where to look :) My first video on this channel was (mostly) from when I was a Warden, after all hahaha .....But of course, I think I prefer the colonial side a liiiiiittle more hahahha
