This is a great tutorial for beginners. Lining up the sashing can be tricky (and frustrating when they don't match) but with your great tip the sashes will come out perfect!

We generally give the fabric a press with Mary Ellen's Best Press, Emily, but we don't wash and starch the fabric first. We mainly give the it a press to make sure the fabric is wrinkle free and this makes it easier and more accurate to cut.
