This and the Walmart-special and Bells of Steel version, I wish the jack-feet weren't turned in like that, so the opening is larger and less likely to snag on you while farmer carrying.

I really like fringe products just ordered their curl bar the short one I chose this one because it just like the rogue one (knurled to the sleeves on the bends) at a great price all their belt squat ( Mammoth). But I purchased the giant open trap bar after your review. THANK Coach

6:00 Point about the weight-loading, you have the lighter-wider bumper plates at the inside while the iron plates are on the distal end fo the sleeve. Not that I want you to buy another piece of inferior equipment tol test this hypothesis, but there *might* have been less deformation if the heavier-narrower plates were loaded closer in. But point taken on not even coming close to the 1000# stated weight limit. If stated as a 500#-weight limit it would be a neat little piece of kit that a large majority of lifters could use for high-rep deadlifts and farmer carries at a huge discount to the sturdier stuff.

Yep Exactly. If you can even get that much on there without it bending it doesn’t matter. Some of the ads have it at 1500lbs capacity lol 😂

Good review but I wished the Same test performed on the balancefrom bar was done on this one too especially the lifting of the frame while the bar is in the upright position loaded with weight.

Yeah we only did that with the Balence from bar because it was already bent after going over 600lbs.

@@carps_gym because it kinda looks like a bias review since you got the fringe bar for free. For unbiased the same test needs to be done.

@@joekiat3519 if it would have failed end started bending at 600lbs we absolutely would have but it didn’t. The fringe one held up to the 700 advertised weight capacity no problem. While the other one started failing at 575 with an advertised 1000-1500 weight capacity. It was already broken when we tried the last one and it continued to bend even further at still even 2/3 of the listed weight capacity. My intention was to brake it was test is normal first and it couldn’t handle it. It’s obviously that the steel is then and it low quality steel components. The sleeves weighed 3lb and a normal sleeves is line 9is pound.

If you want compact design and don’t mind the shorter sleeves, I would go with this one if you want a full-size bar that can hold up over to 1000. I would go with a Giant and use my code carp save 5%.

It really depends on what you’re looking for but if you want a smaller one, I would take this over the Bells of Steel or Amazon or whatever this is a better made bar

I have two of the signature fitness open trap bar knock offs. One arrived as a mini one like everyone reviewed, the other is full size. This just proves how poor their quality control is. Also they are both starting to rust on the sleeves and the paint is chipping so you get what you pay for. One was lost and I got a full refund after ordering again and then the lost one magically appeared. My other is the CAP fitness closed trap bar with built in feet which feels much more durable. If I were in the market for one I would consider this one you reviewed as well as REP and Giant Northland.
