It has been a while since my last update! I apologize about that guys, things have been busy. Here is my latest video and update of my 3,000 square foot warehouse/showroom/retail outlet here in Houston, TX. I have added a retail outlet shop with store hours as well as expanded many sections of my business. Sneak peaks of new products as well for wholesale and retail.

I said this a few months ago when I discovered your videos and I'm gonna say it again..... I am just absolutely blown away by your work ethic, knowledge and presence.... You are doing such an amazing thing for the reptile and amphibian hobby! It is so desperately needed, they have got to be most misunderstood and poorly cared for pets in the industry. I know your busy guy but if you can ever do more setup videos as well as the care for your animals. Love your product dude. I’ve been searching for ways to make desert setups and I’ve finally found it.

Jovan Villa absolutely agree! I have a Uromastyx and I feel that the appropriate desert habitat knowledge is really lacking in this field. The Dude definitely has by far the best setup for desert Vivaria I have seen yet!

You should make a setup with some Nepenthes (Carnivorous Asian Pitcher Plants) or some Heliamphora heterodoxa (South American Pitcher Plants.) I think they would look really cool with a tropical setup of some type. The bugs will feed both the plants and reptiles. Obviously the reptile would have to be big enough to not fall into the traps. If you want a trust able website/seller i know one that grows all of there carnivorous plants in Oregon that i've visited and purchased before.

Cool idea! I have been thinking on the same lines and recently added a Nepenthes to one of my bioactive setups! I want to do more but they are pricey and slow growing!

Dang this is interesting, I've got most of these ingredients around my home and local parks. Cork bark, different soil types, oak leaves, magnolia leaves, palm bark, sphagnum moss. Almost thinking I might start selling my own bioactive kits, been researching it for a while and I know the ins and outs. I really just need the lights off ebay. Already got multiple springtail and isopod cultures growing strong. Thank you for all the information Josh!

Can you make a video on a DIY bioactive substrate? I know that will give away your business but it doesn't need to be that high quality but rather just something to fill some space in your enclosure if you didn't order enough?

How do you keep from being infested with mites with all this wood? How do you avoid them getting into everything you sell? Just wondering because I had trouble with them before and they are horrible.

I completely understand! All of my wood (with exception of the RFL) is 100% heat and pressure treated to ensure no hitchhikers show up. The wood is not in my possession long enough to have issues if that makes sense.

Have you considered partnering up and opening locations in other parts of the US to cut down on shipping costs? Would love to buy a kit up here in Pennsylvania, but over $100 in shipping???

We are working on growing the brand organically, I have stared selling to many brick and mortar stores. We try to keep shipping down, but unfortunately I don't control the cost - Fed Ex does.

Hi Bass. If you are out of state there is no tax. The shipping is calculated when you choose the option best suited to your time frame.

I want to buy stuff from you but you're shipping is sooo high. The shipping is $35 for me. And I need isopods and springtails but unfortunately have to buy from elsewhere it looks like.

No, springtails and isopods are no longer needed as they have been replaced with his BioShot. I had thought the same but i emailed him and was told that the BioShot is meant to replace that and is faster acting and better overall. He also explained this in the video at 9:30. As for the shipping, trust me it is worth every dollar. You will not be disappointed. I was hesitant on getting it because of the shipping price but i went ahead and made that purchase and couldn't be any happier.

Hudson Walker Would the bio shot take any longer than the isopods and springtails. I added mealworms and have a couple dark beetles in there rn to help some till I decide to buy some.
