Looks great Josh. I think the bearded dragons in the wild are going to be jealous😂 I've not tried the pony tail palms yet but you make me want to. I like the grass like appearance just works really well to give a natural look.

Thanks for this series! I'm planning to go bioactive for my future snakes very soon and its fun to see how you build these enclosures. Looking forward to picking some bio kits up when I bring a new guy home :]

We are 30 days strong! Although the Elephant feed is his favorite thing to climb on, so it has new growth but some pedals on the select branches are gone lol.

It's challenging, but if well planned, you can pull it off! I've had great luck with my setup going a year now. I have a small fruitless olive variety that just thrives and Beardie loves to climb in it and sleep at night. I've been experimenting with different grasses as well to varying success.

Came up really nice, funny thing is I was thinking the other day if ponytail Palms would survive, I'll have to give them a go soon.

It looks really nice! When I first made my Bioactive terrarium for my bearded dragon, I put a beautiful prickly pear cactus from your store…the next day all that remained was a stub with bite marks 😆

I am thinking of purchasing your bioactive kit for a 120 gallon pvc enclosure with a solid top which tends to hold heat and humidity pretty well.I live in MN and it can get quite humid here in the summer months so humidity levels would be a concern for me with this type of setup. Any thoughts ?

Try using natural desicants, leaving the tank open, taking water out before bed, and leaving central air at like 74-73

This is a cool looking enclosure, but... Imagine you're in a room full of cool furniture, but there's just shit eeeeverywhere. You can barely get around because every inch of floor either has a piece of furniture or crumpled up paper bags on the floor. You have to live in this room. This is a cool looking terrarium, but is it best for Hercules? I don't have a bearded dragon, and maybe they enjoy this sort of thing. If you give him some open floor space, would he use it, or stay in the packed areas?

lizard don’t care if they have to walk on leaves or rocks. This is replicating their habitat and is enriching for them. also good for their joints and strength
@Jeremy-kg1zr
@Jeremy-kg1zr 3 месяца назад
@@madzzz2933 But they don't actually live in natural environments that are packed with stuff like that. They live in more open areas like desert and scrubland. If you watch a documentary or something in their natural habitat, in my limited experience, there's a lot more open space.

Dem nah hanging pon Di plains, Di open space is where predators pick dem off, hence wild ones only a mek 3 years. Yuh doh wanna copy dem environment exact enuh @@Jeremy-kg1zr
