Thanks for sharing your garden experiences! I am so glad to see you regularly uploading again. I had a dilemma with my beans as well, a set back due to the groundhogs! We live in South Central PA, and are also zone 6, but I like watching your channel among others to see how things and conditions in other parts of the country affect other homesteaders. My purple beans are at the blooming stage, but I just put in my Black Eyed Peas and French Beans. Our last frost this year was may the 13th, and our first frost is usually late September or Early October. Thanks for Sharing your experiences, keep the great Videos coming!!! Take Care.
Oh my ... I thought I had it bad in Maine. We only planted 3 weeks ago with threats of frost until a week ago. Now it's in the low 90s and humid. Unusual for us to be that hot this early. Wondering if you can cut the tops off some of your plants. So much for Sub Arctic plants!
I think we might have had some overspray damage from neighboring farms, so disheartening! Thankful there was no fruit to be contaminated... with prayer everything seems to be fine I was up late worrying about it until and had to give it to God. We too had a cold snap, no damage, but it reminds me how we can try to be ‘prepared’ all we want, but there is so much beyond our control. Trust and obey and realize all we have is a blessing and by grace alone...
weather pattern have changed so much- ours use to be april till halloween---- now they are end of june to christmas--- its crazy but thats what we are seeing here in southern Ohio--- wish you luck with yours huggs,,,,Glo
Well that would be a bummer! Maybe they'll like our soil or something and be better here. Time will tell. If nothing else, I'm sure the pigs will like them.
@@Michigansnowpony I'm in Central Illinois. The plants went nuts here, tried to invade the neighbor's yard even. I read into Vine Peach melons, and saw that most people said they have an underwhelming taste. Looking forward to seeing what you think of them. Happy Growing!
