Nice tip. Friend moved into a house with an established cherry tree. Do you spray your tree? She picked some cherries into a bowl and had it in the fridge. Saw white mini worms at bottom of the bowl. She freaked out. She didn't want the cherries anymore. Didn't know if there still were some in some of the cherries?
Thank you for your tips!! I didn’t know to cut basil from the stem and always wondered why mine would go to seed so fast 😭 also the oil+basil first in the bullet tip came in clutch!
My grandmother was born 1904. She raised me and my siblings. Bay leaves everywhere. Kitchen cabinets. Food storage. Pantry. Everywhere ! Never any insects of any kind. Never smelled any in our root cellar ! But i dont know.....they were farmers
Thank you so much for this video! I have a question about the quick cooling. Do you quick cool because of the taste of it or is this important for pasteurizing? The reason I ask is because I make goat milk bath and body care products. I make CP soap using raw unpasteurized goats milk, which is fine because of the PH; however I’ve been using canned milk for my body butter because my farm fresh is contaminated and I’d like to do a test batch with homemade pasteurized. For this do I need to do a quick cool? Thank you so much again!
Thanks. If you have some spare lumber and and a few hinges this is a simple way to bend wire mesh panels. Even better would be to use a clamping block that had an angle of about 85 degrees (non square) to allow for the wires springing back. This will be especially important on smaller mesh panels, e.g. 1" (25mm) mesh.
I had my diesel heater inside my greenhouse like you but i was getting some small amounts of exhaust fumes inside so i ended up putting my heater outside and just piped in the hot air and it made a huge difference for the good , also put a carbon monoxide sensor inside , good luck
I'm so glad I've written down the name of your channel... your recipe is the one that works for me, and my husband also loves it. He said it is the only one that doesn't taste like eggs! LOL 😊
Thanks! I just tried this and it worked like a charm! 😊 I used to do this with my pups so idk why I didn’t think of it, I’d wrap the pill in a ball of raw hamburger but have a few little meatballs without the pill so I’d just shovel it in their mouths before they realized it was in there 😂
Oh my gosh! I am so excited that I found your channel! Your sellers Hoosier is exactly like mine! And it has been hard to find one. But I think someone had painted mine white. That shelf in the long side door where the flour sifter goes does belong there. Mine has it also. The flour sifter goes below it and it’s smaller . Mine is attached I just don’t have the sifter part that goes on it. Which I am searching for! But I am so excited I finally got to see another one exactly like mine❤️❤️❤️
Good explanation of how to time, weight and gauges. I wonder how it is once you get out out to use, if it's watery . I've only froze it not canned it, great score on 400 $ a bag , it's 5 $ a squash where I am.
I know this is a really old post, but I still have my foodsaver vac 550. I JUST pulled it out of storage and it still works! Lol. I never used the jar sealer. I attached it to a jar, pushed the button and it ran for quite a long time. The machine didn't turn off itself... I finally just took my finger off the button and the jar is sealed. I'm just wondering.... is the machine supposed to stop itself?
I'm heartbroken to hear that someone hacked or stole your channel Renae. I learned so much of my gardening knowledge from you. I hope you and yours are doing well. I pray the Good Lord will Bless you and keep you.
I need to unbend the top area of mesh of a woven wire fence. My horses are bending the tops over from reaching over for the grass on the other side. Any tool thatll help?😢

Oh my goodness! I have no idea if you are still actively posting, but in an effort to find some good information about what I now know to be a "meaty udder" (thanks to you!!!) I stumbled across this post and found the information SO INCREDIBLY clear, well stated, objective based on personal experience. THANK YOU! We have been showing NDs in 4-H for about 4 years, and this is one of the best udder descriptions (and excellent breed/milk/pragmatic info) I have found. Thanks again. I have two ND's in milk right now, one with a great udder, great teats, easy to milk, and the other with a beautiful udder (visually) but FULL of connective tissue, TINY teats, each facing different directions with smaller orifices - and of course, this one wins in the show ring. Ugh.
Beautiful piece. Mine has a couple upgrades, including a slim LED light strip, a surge protector for the mixer (which lives in the cabinet) and other items, a shelf for a small electronic scale and one for my cookbook/notebook, etc. Thanks for the video
