@@JM-qr8qz also, while I've never had the cops beat me up or shoot me, I've had thousands of dollars worth of damage done to my vehicles because they were searching for drugs that didn't exist and literally tore every panel off the interior of my vehicle, cut into the seats. After they didn't find drugs they accused me of trying to buy a prostitute when I was just going to visit my old neighbor. This was literally outside of an apartment that I had lived in for 3 years.

Its pretty easy, if you follow instructions you will live to fight another day. Fighting with cops will not end up well. This is nothing new. Do I want to follow orders? Simple answer is no, but I also understand that doing so will only result in bad things, that is what court is for.

My first husband was a violent man. Even terrorizing our daughters. He applied to be a cop during our marriage. He went through the physical exam and written exam with flying colors. But, failed the psychological exam. They used to identify the applicants with violent nature's and not hire them. I wonder what changed? It has been 47 years and the screening now accepts violent people? How is that progress?

@@lokimillzmillieon2985 wrong, the victim was already cuffed, and shackled. He was only moving because they kept taking him and that caused terrible nerve and muscle contractions. The movements were Jenks and spasms. Not resistance. He had already raised his hands and surrendered while saying ,"I'm sorry. I'm afraid". Several times until he could no longer speak. The cops murdered an incapacitated, fully restrained man, begging for mercy! I just don't know what is happening in America now.

I agree 100%, but also let's recognize that this would have never happened if brotha man just pulled over and got his DUI or possession charge or ticketed for having no insurance or whatever the reason was for why he led cops on a high speed chase. The only two things we should be focusing on in this story is that this was a cold-blooded murder and the police lied about it for two years to his family. The rest is a distraction.

So even if a brother did "just pull over to get his ticket".... Who's to say the cops/klansmen wouldn't have manufactured some reason to beat and taser this man to death simply because they felt like it? No one can ever be sure when you have lying murderers running around the state drunk on power hating every black person in sight!

If they do not get you on side of the road they will get you in court, and give you a life sentence or put you on death row. It has been this way for years. When i was a kid i watched the Louisiana State pull my dad over at night and they talked to him so bad as he responded yes sir. Multiple times! My dad's cousin was murdered by police in Shreveport Louisiana around 30 years ago. He was suicidal and his mom called for help. David was the gentle giant type. Huge guy, but super shy and quite and obviously had lots of problems internally. He loved to build models and his "plan" was to cut his wrists with the exacto knife in his kit. Well rookie cop shows up and even though he was across the room and this was a little model knife, the moment he saw it he completely unloaded his weapon. The police are just the ultimate street gang and have been killing citizens since they were formed.

That's so sad. I'm so sorry that happened to your gentle giant family member! They are the best. I live in the Netherlands. We've had to call the cops on a psychotic neighbour on multiple instances. They were gentle, cautious, but trained much longer than cops in the US. Their training is about three years or so in this country. And in the rare instances they have to shoot, they often only shoot once or twice. It does go wrong every now and here too, as the neoliberal government has cut back on psychiatric care years ago now, and many people who need help, can't get it. Cops still aren't social workers. However, they do so much better. I've never feared for my mentally unstable neighbour's life when calling the cops.

I'm a sixty-six year old white woman with white hair...and I can't remember a time when it didn't make me nervous to see a police car behind me, or see one parked on the side of the road aiming their radar guns, or knowing that the tiny amount of pot I might have on me could get me arrested and tossed into jail for years. And that was with the knowledge that I am practically invisible to the police. I can't even comprehend what it must be like to be a black man (or woman) in this country right now....or any other minority, for that matter...and to feel the daily anxiety and fear, and to have to educate my children and grandchildren on how NOT to EVER provoke the police.......even knowing that no matter how polite, compliant, or innocent one is, he or she may still be beaten, tazed, bullied, strangled, or otherwise treated like less than human...and even killed.....just for being black. Can it get any worse?

You just opened my eyes even wider. My sister-in-law was married to a cop in a town in Nebraska. All I know is he beat her once and left bruises on her face. I think she reported him, but his cop buddies were siding with him. I'm glad she got out of that situation. It left her with PTSD.

PTSD is no joke, I served in the military from 72 to 75 and when I came home the psych doctor told me that I was suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder before I even went in the army so it's a shame that all the traumatic things that happened to people nowadays man and if we don't have some kind of coping skills it'll break us I'm glad your sister got away from this guy cuz cops ain't s***

They had a plan to beat him mercilessly and if he died-oh well. Marcus Jeter in Bloomfield NJ encountered the same sort of psycho cops. While his hands were in the air a cop said :get your hands away from my gun" to cover themselves if he died. They beat him horrifically, but he lived. One of the cops was charged with falsifying police records and was sentenced to five years but his accomplice was allowed to "retire quietly."

I used to work in a bar in NOLA. Once a week the cops would come by and pick up a white envelope full of money. They were on the take. They would turn their head to what went on in the bar, and they would protect them from any "issues" that might arise...all for a nominal fee, of course.

Americans need to understand that this could happen to ANYONE driving down the road. Sure, even if you obey, police can still legally shoot you and abuse you and lie about it. The local prosecutors office can work with police to prevent any information being released. This guy broke the law, but beating up and killing people who break the law means the law is not worth respecting and the system needs some serious changes. End Qualified Immunity.

And WHO is going to fire them? They have massive support by the Republican Party to do whatever they want. Sure, the Democrats want police reform which is good but we're not there yet and the Federal Biden Administration can only do so much so it's mostly at the State level that reform has to happen. The Police Unions have gained tremendous power and have made it damn near impossible to hold people accountable. Hopefully the George Floyd case helps wake people up, but cops have been killing black people for roughly FOUR HUNDRED YEARS!

THIS VIDEO WASNT RELEASED...IT WAS LEAKED BY SOMEONE INSIDE THE PD. I saw the video and read the story immediately after it was leaked almost a year ago or so. ALL of the officers involved in this had NEVER been investigated and most were still on the job. I think 2 of them had either resigned or been fired due to another offense not related to this one. Also, the doc at the hospital had made a note "doesnt add up" after finding taser prongs in the driver's body when he was brought in. The family also found his car, which didnt even have a dent in it, and even after THAT the PD there wouldnt change the story or release the video. In other words, this story is actually far worse than you guys are even reporting that it is....

They beat me when I was 6 1/2 months pregnant. I had my hands in front of me and I told them in pregnant and of course my belly was sticking out yet they hurt me until my water broke and 3 weeks later my baby passed away but because they where there to arrest my hubby, for shooting at some guys that broke our windows and the glass cut my son in the face. But he surrendered peacefully. We called the cops. 😢 I regret that ever calling for help. My son would've still been here😭 these ppl are literally molded to be this way. They have become what they promised to protect us from, criminals and murderers!!! May they pay for what they have done. This video made me sick to my stomach. I dreaded watching it because I get flash backs🤢😰

WTF is going on with so-called *_LAW_* ENFORCEMENT Officers in the States..?? _Makes me sick to the pit of my stomach_ I know it ain't all of them, but how can the public at large trust in officers of the law...? These dirty cops seem to all have been trained at the same place... By giving contradictory instructions like hands up while tazing him leaves them with the option of an excuse of things go sideways. Like the Army Officer pulled over at a service station. He was asked to have his hands out the window and told to unbuckle his seatbelt at the same time.

He yelled he wasn't resisting but he was, he got hit a couple times then put in cuffs. Dude was talking shit and fell over all of a sudden. Paramedics saved him.
