My theory is that the skies are fake because the primordial one flipped the rules of Teyvat upside down. The ceiling is the floor and the floor is the ceiling, with the center of the abyss being the pathway to the rest of the universe. Thus, when the Twins came to Teyvat, they entered from the center of the abyss, and why Khaenri’ah believed they summoned the twin from the abyss.

I completely agree with this! I've thought for a long time that our perspective on "up" and "down" are inverted. There have been a few references in the lore that have alluded to this rather strongly, such as the heavens being "rent asunder" ircc. I like your idea about the abyss too!

The idea of Teyvat being isolated from the rest of the universe, with the Abyss being a void between the two reminds me a lot of "She-ra and the Princesses of Power". Spoiler Alert: In the series, the planet the series takes place on was sent to a dimension separate from the rest of the universe by She-ha's predecessor to prevent the planet from being destroyed.

This is basically the multiverse structure of Hoyoverse, individual bubble universes are born on a timeline structure called the Imaginary Tree, the branches of the tree is the splitting timeline and each bubble universe is a "fruit" at the end of each branch. Over time each universe's attachment to the Tree may weaken and start to "fall" into the void known as the Sea of Quanta or Abyss. The closer a universe gets to the Sea of Quanta/Abyss, the more anomalies they experience as the randomness and chaos of the Abyss tears the universe apart. The Imaginary Tree is order, the Sea of Quanta is disorder, the interaction between the Tree and the Sea is Honkai(Collapse), just like entropy in our universe, things will always go from order to disorder. All possibilities begin in the Tree, in an orderly state and over time collapses(Honkai) and becomes disorderly, ending in the Sea.

@@GuyWithAnAmazingHat I'm pretty sure the imaginary tree is disorder and the sea of Quanta is the Order. Absolute Order is basically a void filled with potential which seems very similar to the Sea of Quanta. The imaginary tree that feeds on the sea of Quanta creates the various worlds of the multiverse, which are all in various forms of disorder which to me is very much a symbol of chaos. Other then that I think you were really close to explaining Honkai. Saying things will always go from Order to Disorder is cherry picking. Your just ignoring what brought about the illusionary perception of Order to begin with. The better perception is that Order leading to Disorder and Disorder leading to Order are all projected opinions of perception. The reality is that everything is transformational from one state to another. Saying one state is in Order when it will eventually decay and that another state is in disorder when it will perhaps appear to be in a state of Order at another point in time are really just the commentator/observer reflecting on their own point in time. As living beings we are in a state of Flux, to say we are in a state of Order is self-deception. Furthermore it comes off as arrogant and prideful while in a state of ignorance. As a creature of Chaos can you really say what Order would look like, I mean at the point you experience it can one say your even alive?
@GuyWithAnAmazingHat
@GuyWithAnAmazingHat Год назад
@@witchcandy3671 Well Anti Entropy was founded to counter Honkai, which means their goal is to prevent entropy, countering the natural effects of order becoming disorder. This is the same physics that govern our universe, the big bang was the original state of order, as the universe expands, it becomes more disorderly as entropy takes its course. The Tree doesn't feed on the Sea, instead it ends in the Sea, it's the Sea that feeds on the Tree. The Sea is the end point for all of reality that the Tree creates. The Tree is the source of all big bangs for all the bubble universes which will eventually end in a big rip/crunch/freeze etc. in the Sea. All the Captainverse stories we've seen as well as Durandal's bubble universe travels are about preventing the universes from falling into the Sea.

"The Abyss" could be a fearmongering term coined by Celestia to instil fear of *anything* outside of the eggshell. Abyssal powers could very well be natural and neutral forces from outside Teyvat and it just happens that some of them drive people mad and are used for evil.

I'm like 90% sure that "the abyss" is actually literally outer space, and that the abyss order is made up of khaenri'ahns that escaped the prison that is teyvat, who are now trying to free the rest of teyvat as well. Some of them escaping was Khaenri'ahs "great sin", and the skies turned red that day because their spaceship burst through the fake firmament. They also weren't godless at all, they had an archon that was ret-conned out of recorded history by celestia using the irminsul, alongside the truth about what happened. And I'm also like 30% sure that Genshin Impact an Honkai: Star Rail are set in the same universe, and that there will be Honkai crossovers in the future that will later turn out to be canonical. Fischl existing in both franchises might already be one of them.

@@your_waifu_hates_you yea I don't get why people don't understand this. "Evilness" and chaos are not INHERENTLY bad, it just seems bad to those who are not chaotic in nature by themselves. That's why the abyssal creatures don't see the world the same way non abyssal creatures do, like how the melusines, durin etc see destruction and death of non abyssal creatures as a good thing instead since they are abyssal in nature by themselves. In the same way that the non abyssal creatures see pain and suffering as "bad" and tries to avoid it, the abyssal creatures try to avoid happiness and pleasure because for them, pain and suffering IS happiness and pleasure. That might make them seem sadistic from a non abyssal creature's perspective but looking at it from an abyssal creates perspective, non abyssal creatures are sadistic to them as well since they draw pleasure from seeing others pleased but pleasure to the abyssal creatures is akin to suffering.

Rukkhadaveta and the Abyss Crystal Voice have a few rather interesting things in connection. One, Rukkhadaveta was of the opinion that Only Dreams can awaken the Consciousness. The Abyssal Voice blessed Chlothar’s Medicine which in turn awakened Calibert’s Consciousness. And apparently, in this memory that came to us through our dreams, this Abyssal Voice is potentially able to find us. So … Two, Rukkhadaveta and Abyssal Voice have Dream Powers, and can bless others with Dreams, Rukkha created the Akasha Terminal which took dreams to create energy … I wonder if the Abyssal Voice is able of doing the same thing … or if he already has? Now, I theorize that Rukkha’s believe that only Dreams can awaken the Conscience is more correct than we think. After all, Dainsleif called the people of Khaenri’ah as the people who dream of dreaming, and if the people of Khaenri’ah have been cursed with the Curse of the Wilderness then … they have literally been stripped of their dreams, their conscience.
@rushalias8511
@rushalias8511 Год назад
One thing I wonder is if the two methods of awakening were similar but fundamentally different. If Rukka's power to restored would it have undone the curse or would it have also made it tolerable and ease the mind into accepting its existence. Is the voice in the crystal and example of a quick and easy solution that's goes wrong. A deal with the devil that backfires. I'd like to think that rukka would have have had a different result. Alternatively if the people's conscious is absent from there monster forms...are they truly even suffering now if there own identity has been stripped away. Like prior to it caliber wasn't aware of what was going. He'd have lived life like a normal hilichurl in blissful ignorance but by forcing to find the truth of his life before. It breaks him. What if the curse is itself meant to be a lesson on why the people shouldn't be ignorant.

I like how the abyss act like the abyss of dark souls. In that universe, the abyss was technically a part of humanity and of the age of dark that was discarded by the gods. The complete assimilation of humanity into the age of fire and the prolongation of it caused the abyss to become a danger to humans, corrupting them. Check Dusk dialogue in DS1, she was snatched by the abyss and talks about how it felt familiar, comforting, hopeful as if it was never meant to be a danger.

The concept of endless cycles is from Buddhism, Buddhism says that desire and attachment leads to suffering, the more you want something, the more suffering you'll get, you continue to suffer the more attached you are to what you desire. Gods want to link the flame, dragons want to return to the good old times, mortals want to become gods, want eyes, want blood etc., all of them continue to suffer because of their attachment to their desires, which is why every single character has a bad ending, they suffer and become corrupt from their desire. And all of this is an endless cycle because people always fall into the same trap of desire and suffering, in Buddhism we call it a samsara, the cycle of rebirth. You die, respawn, suffer again, die, respawn, suffer, repeat. This is why Genshin is about dreams and ambitions, people's attachment to their desires causes them and the world suffering.

No, you're conflating 'The Dark' with 'The Abyss'. The darkness is a byproduct of DS universe's big bang - the emergence of The First Flame, which split the gray unmoving world into extremes (heat and cold, life and death and of course light and dark). Abyss is the excessive amount of dakness in one spot, there isn't one singular THE Abyss, but multiple ones, which can be created intentionally or as a result of a large chunk of the dark soul "leaking" it's power around it's holder (that's why pygmy lords were put in the ringed city and why Midir is called "dark eater). Following the trend of hexes, Abyss operates purely on emotions and can be extremely corrosive to living beings, that's the reason it's considered dangerous. Dusk also talks about Manus (who was driven mad by residents of Oolacile, but still had some remnants of humanity inside), not Abyss in general. All in all, despite having the same name, Genshin's Abyss and DS's Abyss really have nothing in common.

I interpret the Golden Wolflord description as saying exactly what it says - the rifthounds came from elsewhere. Gold did NOT create them. This contradicts early statements about Gold but I think that's fine because those sources were always from people who wouldn't know anyway. So the Golden Wolflord description is a correction similar to Ei telling us Archons don't deal with Visions. Happens all the time. First we get a half truth later we get more accurate knowledge. Therefore Gold did not create the rifthounds but rather she discovered them, summoned them or -- my personal opinion -- she accidentally got their attention and in their hunger they came by their own means and motivations and were never under the influence of Gold. Now it's true they are also named after a type of soil somewhere as if they were a creation, but we're explicitly told that is not true. Therefore this naming of them after a type of soil corresponds to some experiment that went wrong in summoning them. Gold is depicted as a good guy through her links with Albedo and Alice. It's hard to reconcile her deliberately creating and controlling such horrors. So just don't. The only lore we have that is explicit says the rifthounds were NOT created by Gold.

Anyway as a result I don't think you can conclude Khaenri'ah is a different world. Different domain? Sure.
@lkimberly2064
@lkimberly2064 Год назад
One half of the "ultimate" domain, possibly.. The domains we know of all are underground. Whatever the Abyss/Void is, all of the unexplained 'non spaces' (no identifiable this or that to indicate where anything is), seems to be the form the void/abyss often takes. If Khaenriah with Khemia was one half the void/abyss seems to the the other. Even in say Irminsul when we went in, the unknown area associated with the compass in the Chasm, and others, the lack of identifiable details that don't identify what or where something is is spread throughout all the whole of Teyvat when a space is not specifically defined. As in, I saw a 'glitch' where someone climbed up the domain wall after they finished it and they found a form of the opening scene before you sign into the game. I am sure it it is in real life just the devs compacting functions in code and space lines like a loading screen but unshown- as more seems to involved in such a big game. But in game that connects these domains with ley lined or similar, why display the details of another space from a defined setting rather than a void which is what some games do...- in some games where you can control the view of the 'camera' if you look around- when you look back "at" yourself it is clear that only your character not what is behind you [front, left, right] is rendered in actual function or vice versa [You can see where your character is looking behind but it doesn't fully/at at all render the character]. How defined a space is usually defines how it fits into what is known. More so with Genshin, which isn't fully defined yet.

the witches are introduced somewhat as morally grey and a bit psychopathic. only relying on results and seeing what solution they can give to alleviate a problem. they were definitely inspired by the witches of re:zero. where the witch of gluttony wanted to resolve hunger by providing limitless or bountiful creatures but also didn't want those to starve. or the witch of greed that promised to help subaru but only to use him to see the result of every possibility. they're all just doing what comes to mind or trying to help but in an almost psychopathic level seen by regular people because they possess a higher wisdom and different thinking. @@meiyafan8626

Still holding onto the theory that Teyvat is supposed to be a safe bastion for a civilization to escape Finality that threatens the greater Honkai universe. Teyvat being a bubble universe, I wonder if it’s original construction was to protect humanity from the greater threats of Honkai. Of course Genshin might never mention Honkai, the Imaginary Tree, The Sea of Quanta, or the threat of Finality, but it still exists in Genshin, even if behind the scenes. What is interesting to note is that from the lore we've gathered Teyvat has cycles. We know about the memories of the dead rejoining the leylines. The curse of immortality is basically a banishment from rejoining the cycle of life. Those of Khaenriah can not pass their memories into the leylines. They are merely forgotten. In my opinion everything has a purpose and I do believe that good and evil are merely measurements of personal fear. Fear is based on what is right for us which is why very few evil individuals believe themselves to be evil. Back to the point, The Abyss likely serves a purpose and as I see it It is one of Transformation. Tehvat is for all purposes a world with a cycle of life and death. However there are some creatures that remain static and unchanging. The natural balance to the equation is for there to exist the opposite. Clothar was someone who would bow to no God believing in the achievements of humans alone. Yet moments upon meeting the Sinner he was on his knees. His outright denial of the God's transformed to fanatic obsession. We've seen an abyss herald existing before Clothar created the Order. We've seen Enjou transform into a Lector. We've seen hilichurls, abyss mages, lectors and heralds manipulating the elements without Visions. Visions are referred to as the divine gaze but from where does the divine draw its power? I do believe the Abyssal energy is the unfiltered raw mana of the universe. Divinity filters it, like a prism as the raw energy is so transformational it is harmful to the user. The price of such power is your identity which for the abyss order is something of an upside. It's very similar to the magic of the Aranara. You may ask, well then how do the divine hold off such corruption? To be honest the Archons draw from a single element so that is not the divine I refer to but directly to say Celestia. To answer I would suggest the memories from the leylines. Just a theory.

Actually even today the mass murder of animals all for our medicine could be considered genocide, but we don't value those animals so.... I think the Abyss and Celestia could be intrinsically related. If you look at Venti's statue in Mondstadt, it says "Gateway to Celestia". If you stand in his hands and face directly away from the statue, open your map, and extend the line from your character pointer, he's pointing directly to the entrance to the Spiral Abyss. I've wondered for a while whether the Celestia we see in the sky is the true Celestia, or whether it's just a home for a gateway to somewhere else like how Musk Reef holds the SA entrance.

The question is: which of the three realm is Teyvat in? If this is the Human Realm then the First Sin is the Archon's elemental power borrowed from the Realm of Elements, or maybe even stolen once Phanes killed the elemental Sovereigners. If we are in the Elemental Realm, on the other hand, it means that the layer below us is the Human world, and that makes the carachters inhumans, while Khaenri'ahns are the real humans, thus explaining why Dainsleif says "but I say WE humans have our humanity" I mean, an alien wouldn't consider himself a human if he didn't live on planet Earth and the Caribert quest confirmed that the Pureblood Khaenri'ahns are a different race from Teyvat's people, and thus were affected differently by the curse. That is probably what Venti is talking about when he mentions Allogenes. Maybe, just maybe, there are three species of humans, one for each Realm and the just manifest powers on their own, except for the middle tier, that doesn't, and the gods have made people believe that elemental energy is something granted by them only.

One idea in the comments (not sure which, it has appeared in several forms) suggests that what we saw in the start was a flash forward [what happens when we finally reunite with our twin] not a flash back. Only time considerations make it a flash back, perhaps we are going full circle in some way (still unknown; we want to leave but get stopped, get pushed into the past or present, do this/that, to arrive at the same point we 'recall' it starting from).

It took me a while to figure out Ashikai's 4 categories of abyss critter. For me I've always looked more specifically at the critters that made up the bad guys in the Cataclysm war. These appaear to be (1) Hilichurls (2) Khaenri'ahn ruin machines (3) Rifthounds (4) God-killing chimerae. Of these it seems that if we look deeper into the order of events within the time of the Cataclysm it seems like the Swan Knights were already fighting something before many Hilichurls existed or Khaenri'ah ruin guards went wild. So what were they fighting? On the one that leaves Rifthounds. But a giant hollow robot seems like the worst possible thing to fight rifthounds who could just teleport inside the golems surely? So I assume the Swan Knights were fighting Chimerae. And by that I mean the tiger snake thing and any other bizarro mutated monsters of great power presumably including whatever Childe talks about and whatever killed Makoto. If the rifthounds are only hanging around because of Gold this only leaves those Chimerae as possible native inhabitants of the Abyss. This corresponds to Ashikai's category 1 and 2 which I lump together as "Chimerae". But I don't even think the Chimerae are natives. I think they're just some big animals that the Abyss corrupted or imported through some sort of teleportation tech from other worlds similar to the way the Rifthounds came along. It's even possible that the Abyss couldn't get these Chimera until Gold accidentally opened the way by summoning the ever so useful rifthounds. Then the Abyss recruits the rifthounds with it's mental manipulation powers (thanks, Gold!) and uses them to open portals to other worlds where the Chimera come from - or whatever animals the Chimerae are fused together from. As a result I don't think there's any native flora or fauna in the Abyss at all. Except the base personality. Which may not have a physical body. It reminds me of the Tyranid Hive mind actually. (from Warhammer 40K) It has no has no specific body but resides across it's various higher minded thralls. it picks up and mutates new creatures from each world it finds.

*LORE THEORY ADD-ON (Forbidden Knowledge & 3.5 Archon Quest Mysterious Voice)* I wonder if the voice belongs to the *Horned Entity* shown in the Dragonspine Mural that's depicted holding the symbol of Life (an atom) in its palm and portrayed almost as if bestowing the Kings in the mural with knowledge (forbidden knowledge) in exchange for their worship. I believe that entity tempted rulers of ancient bygone kingdoms with the forbidden knowledge, while the mural depicts the 3rd king remaining loyal to Celestia as he is portrayed ordering his servants up the mountain towards Celestia carrying what appear to be offerings, while the other two kings hold their hands out receiving-ly towards the horned entity. The dark, horned creature in the Dragonspine mural has a significant symbol found on it that we see repetitively throughout Teyvat & the game (the pointed spiral symbol). This symbol is found on the creature's wings and shoulder. This symbol does hold an otherworldly origin because not only is it found on this entity, but on Azhdaha who Zhongli's story quest confirms is from below Teyvat/another world (like spiral abyss descends) as well as on many more Abyss creatures we find roaming all over Teyvat and it's an interesting design choice present in cutscenes relating to Zhongli's story who is noted as a "descender" (from another world in other words) in his lore information and the geo element symbol's design taking inspiration from this (just like all other element's symbols appear to be connected to their origins, ex: Anemo wings symbol connected to Venti/Goddess of Time & wind, hydro symbol is same symbol used for Vishaps & the Sangonomiya Crest related to Kokomi & the Enkanomiyans). I also don't believe it is Celestia that cursed the people of Khaenriah. We learned what happens to people who greed for forbidden knowledge, it not only drives them insane but takes away their humanity & changes them physically into monsters (in a Sumeru quest we ran across fatui research notes from long ago detailing human case study subjects slowly turning into monsters with symptoms eerily resembling hilichurl descriptions and the fatui were trying to understand the cause of the mysterious, always fatal ailment/how to cure it). We also further learn what happens to those who greed for forbidden knowledge with the ancient disaster that befell the Scarlet King's people. Forbidden knowledge IS what corrupts and curses those who greed for it, which connects back to the Gensis Pearl mentioned in BP cutscene with Gensis Pearl/forbidden knowledge & what befell the Dragonspine civilization portrayed in their mural. And guess who is cursed from greeding for knowledge/power of forbidden knowledge? Khaenriahns. I believe the cursed people of Khaenriah (and anyone who is exposed to forbidden knowledge) take the form of the entity that is the source of forbidden knowledge (the mural figure) as they share its horns (ex: large hilichurl or samachurl) and the exact same distinctive pointed spiral symbol I mentioned earlier is also found on the horns they drop, horns they use to construct their structure rooftops (also have this symbol), the smaller hilichurls wear horned masks, and the pointed spiral symbol is even found painted on the rooftops of the tents at Dadaupa Gorge in Mondstadt (& totem pole posts elsewhere), so they clearly worship this entity that is connected to forbidden knowledge. And who are they seen bowing to in the newest Archon quest? The mysterious male voice in the corrupted crystal scene that seems almost amused as it asks why they seek forbidden knowledge/power. Feels all too fitting and connected. I also believe every civilization Celestia has dropped a nail on (if the nail doesn't serve a different purpose) is due to this entity's doing relating to forbidden knowledge (bc don't forget the Dragonspine mural depicted several kings from ancient civilizations being tempted by the mysterious figure's knowledge receiving it and there are several ancient civilizations we know of that Celestia destroyed with their nails due to forbidden knowledge. likely the civilizations of the very same ancient kings depicted in the mural). It's also noted in lore that hilichurls existed even before Khaenriah (so even more ancient civilization's people cursed the same way sounds an awful lot like the other civilizations Khaenriah has destroyed due to forbidden knowledge problem). Hope you enjoyed this theory, I've been wanting to share it for months but haven't had the time to put it into words till now!!! I probably could've organized this better, I hope everything is easy to understand! One last thing, the very same symbol depicted in the palm of the mysterious entity could very well be another interpretation of/representation of the Gensis Pearl, if the Gensis Pearl is the source of forbidden knowledge. The entity could be the current holder of the Gensis Pearl in other words. I see why the Kingdom of the Heavens would want to get their hands on it as it rivals their power, hence connecting back to the BP cutscene further with the crown heir tasked with seeking out the Gensis Pearl who became corrupted prior to the 2nd heir's journey (who I believe is Aether vs. Lumine for several reasons but I'll only list the most obvious one bc it gets into too much, but there is more, ex: certain symbols present on traveler's clothing/character menu & they control the Omni element which is a combination of all elements and Omni ties back to the Omnipresent god statue in Inazuma/Celestia to put it extremely brief). I have further evidence the pointed spiral symbol on the horned entity in the mural is related to the source of forbidden knowledge that I discovered just yesterday that I will be adding on in the comments below this later if you're curious for more!

My theory about this is, Teyvat is the bottom part of the bubble universe then void realm comes next (above it) and we arrive at The Abyss which is the true overworld, Also if you do the Spiral Abyss and if The Abyss is the underworld then why floors are going up instead of going down.

This is such a good, thorough description of what we know about the Abyss, I always appreciate your willingness to dive deep on every topic and explore every possible explanation for why something is the way it is. One thing I was wondering with the idea that the Abyss is part of the whole universe and Teyvat is the partitioned area that the Primordial One made when it descended, is what that says about “Forbidden Knowledge” - is it forbidden just because it’s outside of the boundary TPO made? Or is there more to it? How did the Light Realm and the Void Realm coexist before The Primordial One created a physical boundary between them? Is the intolerance to Void Energy something that evolved over time because the two realms are separated, or has it always been like that? Excited to hear your thoughts about the “Sinner” ! ^_^

so in 3.2, when we had to go the sanctuary of surasthana in order to get answers to several questions from nahida, she mentioned that the traveller's sibling is not a descender according to the fatui's shared info, rather she is a human which is further proven by her irminsul records,nahida also mentions that as her journey was coming to an end, her irminsul records suddenly became "fuzzy", and she also says someone is intentionally obfuscating her records on the irminsul, i think the person she refers to might well be the one with the abyssal voice in the 3.5 archon quest. she further states that if that can obscure someone's records from the irminsul then it is unknown what it is truly capable of, and dain also mentions that the abyssal voice is not limited or affected by time or the laws of teyvat. And finally as nahida mentioned, her records became fuzzy when she reached an end to her journey, this is also when she met chlothar alberich and came upon the abyssal voice in the cavern, which could mean it really could be the abyssal voice's power of obscuring her records also it could also be owing to the abyssal voice's powers that lumine happened to become a human and not a descender

I will just leave some thoughts here because honestly, they are a bit scattered. First, I think the Abyss Sibling''s Light power (all elements combined) is what powers the Abyss elemental use. Sort of in the same capacity the white light displays color through a crystal prism, the Abyss mages and higher ups tend to use crystals with their weapons. Second, I think the the book "Before Sun & Moon" is aptly titled as the origin of the Abyssal power in the first place, makes sense in my mind that the Sun converging with the Moon, eclipsing light would form this dark void power. The question is still, where is the void coming from amidst the Sun alining behind the Moon. My guess is the Moon, a la Honkai Impact.

If the Abyss is "underground" in relation to Teyvat but is another world or even the other side of the world, maybe that's why they have the orientation flipping mechanic where you're suddenly on the "ceiling." After a certain point, where down is would flip so to prevent "falling" up, the transition areas are high enough to not reach that point and you use a portal to walk into the right orientation. Also, that would explain why they flipped the defiled statue into the other side's orientation somewhat. And maybe that's also just what they mean by getting wisdom from the world tree while upside down. Either they get it from the Abyss side bits of the tree, or they consider all of Teyvat "upsidedown" and anybody that gains wisdom there is doing it upsidedown.
@alexfirth21
@alexfirth21 Год назад
Well if you think about Irminsul and the strong correlations to Odin and the World Tree, the different realms are stacked. For example, Midgar is like Earth in the middle, Niflheim is a Hel below, and Asgard would be above. I would equate Celestia to Asgard, home of the Gods. Possibly what's seen above in that moment was the true Celestia? Note that these different realms are known as Primordial realms, in accordance to Norse cosmology. Honestly Khaenri'ah falling might've been the beginning of a Ragnarök situation and the samsara from Heavenly Principles perhaps allowed it to be reset. Sorry to ramble on but even the idea that Ei planted the Sakura tree in the future to correct the past signifies time is definitely being manipulated here.
@ojnab85
@ojnab85 Год назад
@@alexfirth21 Sure they might be stacked, I'm just thinking if they were doing a sort of "dig until you reach China" thing where they emerge right side up, they'd be upsidedown from Teyvat's point of view. Though it's not necessary. The orientation flipping mechanism is still a pretty fun explanation for what "hanging upsidedown" is in the stories and myths, though. Maybe whatever defiled the statue was walking on the ceiling, too.
