I can attest that the courts take jury duty *very* seriously. When I was on jury duty, we weren't sequestered, but the clerk made it very clear if we had a question we were to ring the bell and she would knock. At which time, we were to stop deliberating before we opened the door. And we were *NOT* to discuss the case in her presence. I'm just glad I wasn't assigned to the trial of an organized criminal. That would have been a nightmare.

This girl and the rich guys friends were in the same elevator as me. Girl said to them "I tried". Only time in my life that hair on my back stood up. Anyway we nailed them on most of the charges. I loved the scene with Lenny and the lieutenant, when Lenny did that legendary grunt to get his fries back.

Logan in the Law and order movie was only cop to find the killer who is a cop. But the others in a sense of "loyal" to the killer refuse to arrest him. But Logan had to call Internal affairs then the others gets angry at Logan.

"Exile". Great film. Worse part is that even after exposing Profaci as the killer, 1PP left him on Staten Island until well after 9/11.

Wonder if that case about Dasso was related to the death of the building inspector thrown off the roof mentioned by Ceretta in Season 2? You saw Logan react to the guy when he mentioned the case and Logan said, "Small world".

They had a couple more seasons of decent episodes, post 9/11 it really became all plots where the defendant is easy to catch but who tries to moralize with the jury about how they did the right thing and they get inches close to an acquittal.
