I have a theory, I think these guys are just creating youtube content, and none of these"REPAIRS" are going to be used.

The lubrication passage from the crankshaft to the piston rod is missing.

The alignment of the two halves was very so, so I agree this is just for content. did not harden the work pice cut a thread in each half and not use the idea was a waste of my time

What they are doing is mocking the viewers. They get money from YT for the film and then immediately throw away the junk they "repaired".
