U can usually fire them with out moving the safety with ever shot

The selector just lets you select which barrel fires first…two quick pulls will fire both shots without manipulating the lever or else you couldn’t use it for skeet or doubles trap.

No need to switch top or bottom barrel or safety when shooting. Over and unders havent changed since.

My lord, thats not how you shoot the barrels. The inertia trigger resets uoon firing. Select the barrel you want to fire first and thats it...

Everything about this video is wrong. How he operates it, history of the gun, and the name wasn’t random. Then president H William wanted a Italian sounding name for O/U. Japanese word for enlightenment (Satori)was based for an Italian sounding name Citori.

From the research I've done the name doesn't have any meaning. This is based off of several sources including an article from The Rifleman. The marketing guys wanted a Japanese sounding name. That was it. The safety on this gun was also odd. It was my first time shooting this specific Citori.

My Friend pleasure writing in your RU-vid space. I own two old Browning Citori shotguns. I want to blue one of those two. Hot blue. But I have a doubt about how this 1979 Browning is solder. Do you know a way to determine of it is Ag, Sn or Pb solder use by Browning?

Superposed was made in Belgium?, Citori made in Japan in the 1970s.

Excellent review. In the mid-1980s I bought a 20 and 12 gauge Citori, each used for $500 . After about 20 years of heavy use the safety does sometimes slide in between over and under and will not engage, so I had a gunsmith pin the safety so the safety is reliable and the under barrel always shoots first. After 38 years of heavy hunting use, the Citori served me well and I use it for waterfowl up here in Alaska, then wintering in Montana I use it every day with my extended upland season.
