I'm in the States and it wasn't streamed on my American Eurosport. I've been missing some really great and big races and it's really annoying to miss such big races like this one 🤘🏻🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

He won Strade Bianchi last year, arguably a bigger race

​@@joshuawhittaker1197Strade Bianchi started in 2007. Amstel Gold Race started in 1966 and it's the most important 1-day Dutch classic. Giro di Lombardia is the biggest 1-day Italian classic, and Strade Bianchi doesn't even come close to that in terms of history.

​@@joshuawhittaker1197 Actually, I made a mistake. The biggest Italian one-day classic has got to be Milan San-Remo (first raced 1907). MSR is the opener of the classics season. But Giro di Lombardia (1905) is the closing race of the season. Both have much longer histories than Strade Bianchi. There used to be a 10-race UCI World Cup between 1989-2004, where if you had the best results over these 10 races, you would win a World Cup title as best classics rider. The races included MSR, Flanders, P-R, Amstel, Liege, Paris Tours, San Sebastian, GP Suisse, HEW Cyclassics, and Lombardia. It was like every major country in continental Europe had a classic. And it was pretty cool. Some great classics riders like Johan Museeuw, Michele Bartoli, and Paolo Bettini won the cup. Of course that was a heavy doping era, but those races were great.

Excellent result, the only people who won't be happy are Amstel!

I don’t get it why so many riders always risk it. Imagine you give your everything for six hours straight and then loose because you couldn‘t wait two more seconds… 😭😩

It was a fascinating race!…..and the world champ was in attendance. Pidcock is well suited to this course and we know he’s a bit quicker than WVA in the Amstel Gold sprint. Very entertaining race and plenty of big hitters on the start line. Respect your opinion however. 😉
