The process of exchange begins with repentance . Repentance means to change your mind about God and towards God . It's not always Gods plan. We get ourselves into situations that He would never have led us to be in. Be careful what advice you give. Sometimes it's not a cookie cutter answer that people are searching for.

Well...you understand that we are all sinners, and need Christ' righteousness. We all struggle, none of us our perfect. Our hope is the resurrection when this carnal body is changed, thats when sin will be eradicated forever. You are saved in Christ work and He will continue to work in you. Dont let the enemy guilt trip you thinking your not saved because you still wrestle with the flesh I get tripped up in the same foolish things too, and realize they dont give me the satisfaction i need

Remember we can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens us!

@@Matthew-re9pb I really needed to hear the part about not letting the enemy guilt trip you Into thinking you're not saved. I don't feel like I'm where I was or where I need to be. Everytime I feel this way or do something wrong I always think I need to be saved again or I'm going to hell. Idk it's just so hard sometimes.

If you find yourself drawn to shows, movies, books etc that cause these feelings turn away from them and go to the word or pray. Its best to seperate yourself from the worldly pleasures that cause us to slide. its not easy but if we approach it in prayer God can remove the desire for such things. I will be praying for you ❤️

@Katrinapyes let's focus on Jesus Christ works, not our dead works.

@Katrinap your true repentance is to God realizing you are a sinner and in need of Jesus Christ finished works. You don't repent of or to your sin , you repent to God for the remission of sins by believing on Jesus Christ finished works period.

@Katrinap why are you trying to make your salvation all about what you d0? My salvation is all about what Jesus Christ did in at the cross , his finished works period. 1cor. 15:1-4

Peace, grace, mercy and love from the Lord Jesus Christ and God our Father. I spent 50 years as a deceived member in the sect of Christianity known as Roman Catholicism before one day I sought God in truth and spirit, and asked Him what one must DO in this day and age to get saved. You see, after I started asking questions of people in the Catholic church I started asking the same questions of people in all the other "Christian" churches on the island where I live and I visited MANY in person even up to 80 miles away. I would ask ordinary members of each church, and the pastors and preachers, specific questions. I would ask them the same question phrased differently, and would get varied responses. Anyways, God showed me that every 'church' that I visited were teaching THE gospel and the RESPONSE to the gospel, wrongly. He prepared me with questions to ask. I asked people, "What is THE gospel?", "What is the gospel of God", "What is the gospel of Jesus Christ?", "What is the everlasting gospel?", "What is Paul's Gospel?" Not one person I met knew that Paul's Gospel is his first letter to the church, which is the book of Roman's. Many people would tell me that gospel of Jesus Christ was to love God and to love one another as yourself. My point is not one person told me what God told me. The "everlasting gospel" is a phrase used one time only in God's real written Word, and though it does not appear in God's Word until the book of Revelation it is from everlasting. It has applied to mankind since the world began. The response to the "everlasting gospel" is different depending on the time period that a person lived in on Earth. The "Everlasting Gospel" is summarized by God in the verse after the one that mentions the phrase. The Everlasting Gospel is to; 1. Fear God 2. Give glory to Him 3. Worship God alone This is how you Fear God. Read or hear preached (from a Cambridge Edition of the authorized King James Version book of God's words) Romans 1:1 to Romans 4:25. If you have been seeking God in truth and in Spirit, willing to have all the lies and wrong spiritual information replaced with the TRUTH, and you hear preached or read Romans 1:1-4:25, and then declare the righteousness of God, God will know. That is when He will impute His righteousness on you, a believer in the right Jesus. Jesus is the living Word of God. Scripture is defined as the written Word of God. Jesus is alive! His words are alive. John 6:63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. When you read Him, He reads you back! Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. After you declare His righteousness, now God will hear your prayers. Your first prayer to Him should be of thanks and praise. Continue your reading of Romans at chapter 5 where you come to understand immediately you ARE now justified! Romans 5:1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: 2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. You see, only God can enable a person to experience moral compunction so that they can turn back to Him. You must read Romans 1:1-4:25 before that can happen. You see, Paul does not wait until Romans 10, or 1 Corinthians 15 to tell you the gospel of Jesus Christ. He does not wait to tell you that God is waiting for you to hear His message and for you to give GLORY to Him alone. He tells you in the first four chapters of his first letter, as that was what Christ commissioned Paul to do. Paul was the chosen vessel to deliver to us how we get saved. May God open everyone's eyes that read this post, to the truth.

Jesus took care of our sin past, present and future and we also have no relationship to the law anymore that would reveal that we are sinners...Romans 10:4 ( For Christ is the end of the Law for righteousness to everyone who believes.) The reason why your feeling guilt, condemnation over sin is because Charles Stanley isn't clarifying the gospel but is obscuring it...

Be strong fight the yoke over your life. I stop smoking drinking after 40 years. I don’t even think about it.because my commission is to save souls and I’m dirty so I stopped keep praying.
