I’m currently dating someone that does not have this alpha male complex. He leads, he’s kind, he’s compassionate, he caters to me, he respects my opinion, he rubs my back if I’m in a bad mood and doesn’t take it personally, he opens my car door and pays for everything. This video had a lot of good insight but the biggest takeaway is my gratitude for finally getting over men like this one right here 🤣 cause that sure used to be my type

If we tell our children they are beautiful and we love them it’s not to stroke their egos. We do this so that they feel seen, loved, valued and secure. And the same goes for relationships, we all need to hear loving words from time to time. It’s not about ego but more about expressing how we feel or providing reassurance for the other person.

I really enjoyed this conversation. It’s so important to HEAR and LISTEN to what men say. They really do tell on themselves even if they look good on paper. I’m not saying he’s a bad guy but you can tell where he stands from his POV.

Men who are not looking for their equal are usually looking to control the woman/they think they are the prize and wanted to be treated as such. We must stop listening to these single player types for advice. This man should have been married and he isn’t and doesn’t plan on it anytime soon. He is full of crap.

Lord, please build more men like the ones I was raised by whom never felt insecure about my mother or aunties high achievements. Mostly because they were also high achievers. Now I see why so many blk female doctors just marry other doctors. Chile, nobody has the time because you didn’t have the ambition or drive. Literally, my parents had no problems with vacationing together and discovering new things together. But my mother wasn't begrudged for getting there first, if my dad hadn't arrived yet and vice versa.

I don't like this binary man think this way, women think that way stuff. I'm a man who's both sensitive & goal-oriented. It doesn't make me feminine. It makes me human. Most men are the way they are because of social pressure. Men aren't innately logical & emotionally tone def. We need to talk about that.

I finally understand why men prefer a woman who can submit. They wanna feel like they are being a good leader. To them, submission=validation as a leader. So if we want to be led and protected, then that has a “leader and follower” dynamic. Makes sense to me.

I think this was … An interesting conversation. While I appreciate what was shared and appreciative for Dozie’s perspective. It confirmed on so many levels the revelations I have seen from men. The gist of this is basically men do not want to be responsible for your heart. If I could be honest. Women just guard your hearts. I think it’s clear we need to be way more discerning, move a lot slower in dating, and not give our heart so easily. It sounds like a lot of our greatest fears in matters of our hearts seem to be all of mens mechanisms (defensive mechanisms). Society has really conditioned men to be emotionally immature, selfish, and inconsiderate of others. This is literally the conditioning of men. We really need to look out for ourselves and really practice detachment, even in relationship. Not to make bash, but it explains whether men mean to or not, are always hurting women even if unintentionally. I didn’t find his honesty comforting but more confirming than anything, I really have to be careful on which men to give my heart to. We may really need to learn to fill our emotional buckets in other places such as family, friends, passions, and joys then men. The ego, the selfishness, the fragility, it such an imbalance to you. It’s probably not going to change, so either as a woman learn how to navigate the male ego with detachment and not being overly invested or just back away all together. We are spending all this time learning about men, and they are not taking time to meet us where we are at and learn about us.

Hi Breeny, will you be bringing a married expert in the series? It would be nice to hear the perspective from an expert that is actually married, and for them to discuss their journey/choices that led up to them finding their partner and wanting commitment. Amazing conversation Breeny🥰. I find submission honourable. Having a relationship with God and submitting your life to him prepares you to be able to submit to your Husband. In a marriage - everybody is under submission - the husband is submitted to christ as his head and the woman to her husband and the children to both parents. So, it's not just the woman.

I also find it funny that he stated that - if a woman tells a man she doesn't want to submit, then that man automatically knows he doesn't want to marry her, but he might date her for a little while.- But then later in the interview he States That if a woman is with a man who is not worthy of submitting to i.e not a good leader, then why is she with him? Somehow the blame falls on her in the opposite situation? This man is very contradictive and his double standards are not realistic.- I think the question to the 1st man with the woman who is not submissive, should be why did you pick her? Why are you dating her and knowingly stringing along a relationship? THAT doesnt sound like a good leader in the first place. The blame should fall on him too. Do better

Why do men ask the question of submission. When it is the first thing in a conversation, it's a concern for me. And I love the idea of men leading. Wait a min, im argumentative, highly opinionated, more educated, and I make more money than my partner. He likes these things about me. I'm still feminine, he would never say that I act "like a man". He still provides and protects, emotionally and physically. And I reassure his role as a man, bc he is an alpha by nature. No mater how flagrant I can be that will never shake him. A TRUE alpha male is not afraid of the moves and groves of a woman's vital persona.

Another thing is this guy is extremely superficial and shallow. The way and in which he indirectly picked a part women's looks (weave, makeup, weight body type) is telling. Are we even sure he likes women? He gave me Kevin Samuel vibes.

I have had to unsubscribe from Breeny. As much as I have been a stan before. It seems like something snapped since her breakup and I really think she needs to heal. All this turning to the manosphere for relationship advice irks me. None of these men are in meaningful, loving relationships. What qualifies them to speak on the topic even? She asks why they want woman's submission so much. It's simple, they've got fragile egos and they don't want a woman of discernment that can challenge them. They expose their emotional immaturity. When they say they want peace, what they're really saying is that they want you to shut up and listen. Be seen not be heard. They want to do zero work emotionally, spiritually and intellectually to contribute to the relationship working. Why doesn't Breeny bring on happy couples to explain the secrets of their success or at least happily married dating coaches? If not that, qualified counsellors That bit where he said he didn't know what was under Breenys wig or what she looks like without make up was an underhanded insult. Breeny has naturally beautiful features. Cheekbones for the gods, full lips. A perfectly symmetrical face. She'd look beautiful even if she was bald headed. I know this because she has cut all her hair once years ago and was still stunning. But apparently he can't see that because how dare she wear a lace front and put on makeup. A lot of us men are raised by our mothers, but when it comes to our woman the first thing we say ( in times of disagreement) is you are not my mother… Yet, in a way she is our mother as in she is woman, and her strength is to nurture and grow whatever she loves… Once we realize that that is her innate nature relationships will take a turn for the best… The key is to choose your/our woman more wisely.

This is definitely his mentality and those in his circle. His mentality speaks of his experience but isnt necessarily Gods standard. I am thankful to know men who dont agree with this and move differently. There are great men out here ladies. Please do not allow jaded perspectives convince you otherwise. There is a conditioning out here in these social media streets, to make women settle for men who will treat them lesser than God intends. Dont fall for the narrative. Work on yourself, love yourself, respect yourself and enjoy living. Believe who God says you are and dont let the world tell you contrary. One thing I will say is, for some reason, a lot of these toxic cycles only happen in the black community. Other races value marriage, respect, stability and a partnership, but many black men are tearing black women down & then refuse to change/desire marriage. At the age of 25, I prefer to date black men, but I definitely believe black women should start expanding their dating pool.

I was going through it in life and I just thought I’d type into Spotify how to stop needing male validation and u popped up. Your words, your tone and your ideas are so so amazing, helpful and sensational. I’m 18 years old and I’ve struggled with my mental health and self confidence for so so long which led to me being hospitalised for a year because of the way I treated myself. I didn’t know my worth and I constantly relied on males stares and reassurance to feel worthy. Now that I say it to myself it sounds so so bad but It came to a point that if I didn’t get men to stare at me I’d be so depressed for the whole week. Your advice and your EVERYTHING is just soooo amazing to me and u inspire me so so so much. I’m training to be a nurse and I’m working full time along side it and I feel like I’m becoming the woman I’ve always wanted to be and part Of that is due to my mindset which is all thanks to you! I don’t like that BM love to have these conversations about submission. We don’t need overseers. I’m a grown woman and this isn’t 1940 where I need a man to structure my life. BM never want to address the fact that most of them lack any sort of self awareness, emotional maturity, emotional intelligence, loyalty, and self control. A man who lacks those qualities within himself is not capability of leading anyone. Let’s be clear. Judging by the things that were said in this interview, dozie lacks all those qualities and that’s probably the real reason he’s single. Doesn’t matter what you look like on paper or physically. No woman is submitting to a man who lacks those qualities. Men who are heavy on getting a woman to “submit” need some sort of validation in controlling someone because they lack control within in their own lives. I’m also not letting a man who doesn’t have his own ego in check lead me anywhere.

I loved listening to this while I worked out. I wish more men liked to talk on the phone. It shows maturity and confidence. I wish both of them the best of luck in the future.

This video confirmed for me that men do not respect women and see them as objects. Men have fragile masculinity and admit it right to your face if you really listen.
