I love this! I used to be that one person who couldn't leave home without my beat up face.. Now i just can't stand the feeling of foundation on my skin and I absolutely LOVE me just this way! We definitely need to learn to accept ourselves and others as we/they are. Thank you for posting this!

You have gorgeous skin Margaux! I literally haven't worn a full face of makeup since the beginning of January! All concealer/foundation did was break out my skin and cause hyperpigmentation. With me not wearing it, my face has cleared up significantly! I love makeup, but I only want to wear it when I feel like it not because I feel obligated to wear it. But I totally feel what you're saying! Unfortunately our generation is obsessed with image for all the wrong reasons and it's borderline annoying lol.

I truly appreciate you making this vid I am 40 and the constant pressure to fit into some mold of beauty is out right oppressive and exhaustive. Even at my age with the full understanding that I am me with or without makeup I still often feel the need to comply with y spoken beauty rules in and off camera 📸 sometimes I feel guilty as if I’m “letting myself go” and other times I feel the need to represent for all my chocolate drop sistas out there. I actually hate make up but sometimes I enjoy the way it makes me look and feel I just don’t feel I should have to go into full “costume” mode every time I want to look or feel beautiful

You don't need any make up and it definitely feels like peer pressure sometimes. I don't wear it at all but sometimes I feel like I should because of basically what your saying

I'm the same way even with dark spots on my face I still don't wear makeup. I've tried it though. I feel it's not for me.
