A lot of old cathedrals have marble statues in them of saints and madonnas. Perhaps Cleo can put a statue of mi amoré in there. I think having a focal point at that end would look good. It doesn’t have to be huge. Just horse sized, maybe raring up, on one block.
True, i think they should invite for every season 1-2 new members to shake things a bit up (but not too much) and to replace those that have moved on or arent as active anymore on hermitcraft.
It should be the lever_base image in the block folder. If that gets deleted it should fix it. It's also possible there's mutiple texture packs in the folder that have that in there, as I'm pretty sure he said he tried turning it off.
@@Flohp2I believe it's the texture pack that is server side? Because as far as I've seen all the hermits have it. I think it's in the same required texture pack as the custom items?
Suggestion for horse signs to get more room for stats: ⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯ → 14.125 Γ 5.144 ♥ 22 ⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯ It'll also fit in with some of the motifs you used in the main build. ( I haven't tested length on the actual signs, just a thought)
@@OracleofWuffing yeah I was thinking an up arrow for jump height at first then figured something a little less traditional would fit the anachronistic aesthetic slightly better. Like it’s a symbol the original creators would have used. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ either way, I like that we’re all on the same page. :)
You should make like a steampunky crane coming out the top, with little storage behind where the big window. I think it's a nice cathedral, but not run down and repurposed. A feature like this outside might help that! Perhaps even something like a horse-themed graffiti, if there's room
Though might be a reach. But you could try and find a way to make it look like the shop has a leak and the basement is flooded which is why theres water on the floor
I think the cathedral looks too new. Needs a few broken window, a hole in the roof, and some hay in the floor. All your builds are amazing! Thank you for such great content!!❤
your build style is so amazing. I love the creativity to use blocks for building when they arnt really fit for that build technically (example grey wool in a mountains). Your not the first to do this but you certainly do it better then anyone else imo.
You could make a dungeon under the cathedral that horses get retired to. Then could sell batches of them to hermits for XP as kind of black market product. Love the videos!
Little fun fact about history, that I thought of because of the horse cathedral: Maybe you know the cologne cathedral? Big gothic church in Germany started in 1248 There is a myth in cologne that when cologne was taken over by the French, that they used that (at the time unfinished) church as a horse stable… Just thought that was funny
For the TNT shop, pretty sure you can make rooms that won't blow up if you make all the floor, walls and ceiling with waterlogged slabs and stairs, facing in the other direction to make them look like full blocks from the inside. Chests can be waterlogged too, maybe place them in the floor so water won't flow. The other things in the room will be trickier though.
"You can make games within this game" "But what about food making food for you" "And what about eggs laying eggs for you" "Well Squarespace..." NGL, thats the weirdest segue I have ever heard anyone use to tie in Squarespace but I honestly love it. I could not tell what the sponsor was before xD Good stuff Bdubs, keep up the creative commentary!
If you build the tnt shop rooms out of backwards stairs and other water-loggable blocks, you could have a completely normal looking, but blast proof, interior. Just a suggestion! Loved the video as always
For the tnt shop you could fill the whole thing with water, set up a conduit for water breathing (or provide potions) and use note blocks as a replacement for the buttons
Reminds me of the first church you find in Elden ring. Would be cool to see a statue or Mi amore outside of the catherdral with you on him as well like the Tree Sentinal in Elden ring.
Tango's "You spell as you fight" is brutal 😂 But B-Dubs at least got some correct letters in, whereas he couldn't land a single hit on Gem, and was using an axe despite fighting against a shieldless opponent... Oh B-dubs...
Im sure other people have commented this, but use backwards, waterlogged stairs for the tnt room, they won’t blow up and they look exactly like regular blocks
it's the "groovy" lever Vanilla Tweaks pack that gives the lever a groove indicating if it's on or off, being red when on. Not sure if that's a client or server-wide issue though.
Literally just started building a cathedral in my world, I needed some inspiration and couldn’t find the right Bdub video for it. Now I have one. What a blessing 😊😊
I built a cathedral for my horses a few months ago. It's more of a giant sanctuary rather than a stables, but it's nice to see that great minds think alike. Max horse jump is 5.293 btw
I hope Decked Out is treated like a standalone game that deserves as much attention as if it was its own Let's Play series. It's an amazing game that will last weeks, strategies will be diverse and you 22-ish people are the only people in the world with access to it, with hundreds of thousands of people eager to see every moment of it. Good or bad runs, doesn't matter. Just do you, have fun. My vote is for full runs, especially the first week. Good luck!
Id love if the death chamber for horses was something like Soilent Green where they show wildlife footage and play classical music before they person dies.
I haven't been watching Hermitcraft regularly for around a year, mostly due to lack of time but maaaaan, Bdubs is such an incredible builder. it's absurd. such skill.
Because you defo love lore, you'd probably be interested to learn that the famous St Paul's Cathedral in London (before the great fire and rebuilding) was used as a stables by Cromwells army during the civil war!
Hey Bdubs! I found something that u might think is cool. There’s this building called the Cathedral of Learning in Pittsburgh. It’s a sick building and I’ve been trying to figure out how to make it in game, but it’s a bit above my level. It’s a cool bit of inspiration I think. Have a good one!
I do hope you're ok with cub taking your neon holo sign for his museum straight up. I do feel like the server may reclaim some of those items from cubs museum at some point
Second the ideas to call it the Ca-steed-ral or Crathedral! Also for the signs in the stables you could use acronyms like spd or hp to fit in the full stats? Great stuff bdubs :)
