Beautifully done. Such a smart move for college students to save money. I wish more colleges would officially support this option (allow to park long term in a secure, monitored area, easy access to bath/shower, laundry facilities, etc).

Just got a 2019 express extended passenger van...32k miles $ 21k out the door...still has 36 month, 36k mile warranty on it....thanks for the clean efficient look...I’m in the process of doing the similar bed, didn’t know how to handle the storage side...awesome...

My uncle has a 11 van that 4x4. There out there. Done aftermarket. Just like cruise control on an early 2000s work van. Maybe the ultimate offroad affordable rv

Nice build. I'm a little concerned about the weight of all the wood. Any idea how much that added to the build and could alternative materials be used. I'm thinking aluminum structures and the thin the wood or laminate used on airline planes. Also wondering if the two front seats swivel around to face the back. A pedestal table would work nice between the seats if they rotated.

Really nice build. More expensive but still so reasonable. Knowing I can get a van setup for $20,000 seems doable where $60,000 and a sprinter is not. Plus the maintainability costs will be so much lower.

Looks sweet, similar to how one of my set ups were. Curious to what you did with the rear speakers if there’s any? Also, the side & rear doors having the metal exposed, is that insulated/sound deadened in any way? Or is the rubberized coating the method you’re using for that? Well done though, everything looks great, the simple design is a solid way to go. Every bit of space really makes a huge difference.

My 2017 4wd lifted 6.0 liter passenger is for sale with only 11K miles interior is pretty much a blank canvas for these guys to build out for you I’m sure. Right now it only has 4 custom leather reclining/foot rest seats

Them old cargos are great choices (solid engines and shells) but it's hard to pass up on the new high roof cargos imo. Being able to walk and not crawl around is a luxury well worth the extra money. 💰🚶🚶🏿🚶🏾

Looks lovely! I am totally puzzled about hot water, for coffee, cooking, showers?? Did this just get skipped accidentally? I wish these vans , and high tops, would not only have 4x4, but the high clearance that I have in my Nissan Xterra. I can basically go anywhere now and am very hesitant to lose that. I camped near someone with a brand new super expensive 4x4 built out rig. They said they were having a difficult time really four wheeling because of ground clearance with tanks, etc under the van. They said they were really glad they had rented it first and won't be buying it. I can't remember for sure the make but looked very similar to , and maybe was, a Sprinter.

Is the bed a full twin 36x72.? How much space between the bed and kitchen cabinet.? What's the dimensions of the kitchen cabinet floor to top,let to right and depth.? Also, I like the solar shower, how would you plum it into the van for a gravity fed sink.?

im a trucker and live on the road most of the time so i know the road and the risks and shit happens , i just want to say i think this stealth method on a plain van like this is the best way to go and even dress like a worker to match, people out here looking to steal or rob i think target the tourists so campers n stuff and any big camper vans , they think u gor money , in a van like this u can just about park anywhere and sleep without issue , see the thing about the road is if u are out there long enough u will see shit happen and it might even happen to you, this stealth method will reduce your risk of bad shit happening

Interesting but prefer the 4WD Suburban models. Would love to buy one but the last time I e-mailed Grady their build out schedule was into November 2021 and there is little to no secondary market.

Respectfully, full-time living and SLEEPING on that mattress every night will very likely eventually cause mold to grow on the bottom of it unless you turn that storage lid into slats or cut a number of air holes in the lid to allow the mattress to have air circulating. Max Air fans have a great reputation, and especially their customer service. It's a beautiful, clean, minimalistic aesthetic.
