@@kemalkeza6795 totally different engine mate, GM USA didn't want them to build it, GMH had it already designed and tooled up before they could reject it lol. If you actually have a look at the design it's easy to see how different it is from an SBC.

Gotta use the same logic then with all the big block, small block chevs, LS engines Clevos Windsors etc etc using aftermarket blocks cranks etc. None of the above engines make big power with OEM components.

The first thing's to fail in a high horsepower engine are either the pistons, rods and then lastly the crank. You would be surprised at how much you can throw at a forged and balanced engine with extra head bolts.

@@bbuildingmarch7060 You seem to have missed a few points. 1. The car is registered in Victoria so South Australian rules don't apply 2. The rules you linked to apply to factory fitted turbocharger boost settings 3. That car originally came with a maximum of 5L (308ci) naturally aspirated V8, it now has a touch over 6.4L (393ci) and two huuuuge turbos. As such, he can set the boost to whatever he likes. 4. That car will be engineered to the n'th degree. It will be completely mod plated and street legal (while on the street. - the NOS is not street legal)

Stroke a 308. The block has enough meat to go that high, but probably not any higher. And yes Holden didn't make them that big. It's all custom stuff. I have seen 396 strokes kits (crank, pistons, rods)

It’s a Torque power Big paw, it’s based off the gmh engine but has some alterations to make it better and ofcoarse it’s slightly bigger

It can run e85 and when it's not hitting boost (so basically anywhere under 5000/6000rpm) it is completely usable on the street. It's peak power is ridiculous but it takes a bit of effort to make it hit those numbers on the street because of how high you need to rev it to get anything over 600hp. You'll run out of road well before you even get near the turbos working rpm range
