During handling, its important to avoid unit-to-unit contact to prevent scratching or damage.
Meticulously packaged with braided rope between units, removing packaging straps carefully is crucial to prevent tipping or injury. Available in a single 16x32 size, Soreno slabs can be installed in various patterns like half bond, stacked bond, or herringbone. When installed on grade, X or T spacers should be used to create joint spaces, preventing edge damage and unit-to-unit contact.
After installation, be sure to compact the entire surface to ensure evenness. Use polymeric sand that meets ASTM C144 or C33 specifications, filling joints 1/8” below the bottom of the chamfer or square edge, and remove any sand residue before compaction to avoid surface scuffing.
