I'm building 24" tall small retaining wall on concrete footing. It will be drained. Would you recommend standard or large backers for that? Should I use geotextile for that height?
The most comprehensive and thorough training on how CORRECTLY install paver which only 10% of contractors follow because they usually don't understand what they are doing and why they should be doing it in such a way: hence the failures you see all around.
This is interesting, my customers for my repair jobs are always saying the last company that did their job used bad sand, I find most people don’t re sand every few years and don’t even after 5-10 years, without dealing with wind and water erosion ..sands won’t hold up long as people think.
Hello, thanks for reaching out. It's not recommended to place gopher wire under pavers during the installation. The procedure generally involves installing the pavers first, then the edge restraint, followed by channeling in the rodent fence. Hope this helps!
The U-Level is so easy to use and even has an app so you can use it via Bluetooth on your cell phone. DriveCel is another game changer and a Must - Have on driveway applications.
This was a wonderful project to be a part of! As always, with anything Unilock is involved with, it was expertly crafted down to the last detail. I always love working with Jason and all of the pros at Unilock. Cutting edge technology always keeps them at the top of the game.
Great series highlighting a lot of amazing new products. If we as contractors aren't adapting to new leading technologies we aren't going to be able to stand out in the field and will fall behind fast. Glad that Unilock realizes that and are constantly making sure we are set up with the latest and greatest companies with industry leading capabilities.
DriveCel is a real game changer. Used it to repair a rutted out sink hole in an industrial yard with lots of forklift traffic by just laying right on top of the compacted base and filled it with 3/4 clear. 2 years later and it still hasn't moved.
100%. Using DriveCel gave me the strength of a concrete base and was the easiest granular base we’ve ever installed. Ideal drainage which you don’t get with concrete.
Great, clear information guys thank you very much. If you have any questions i'd recommend contacting Jason, a huge hardscape resource and industry expert!
Another great video by Unilock contractor services. Absolutely loved working with drive cell. It provided us a solution to deal with a culvert issue as well as heritage trees by Reducing our excavation depth significantly. Most importantly it allowed our homeowners to have their dream Unilock Umbriano driveway. We strongly recommend this product. DN Contracting team
